Great showing overall U'K.
I would have loved to have seen the UK squad from the first match face the ishtars, not sure it would have won, but would have been a better fight.
...and it is nice to see a few other teams checked the killboards and noticed how well the ruptures did in dmg, it doesn't always pay to listen to the commentator's biased views ;)

well to be honest i really belive that uk could smack us around with the setup we already fielded and to be honest i was one of that veto the setup we had this match
but im glad they do give **** about my thinking :D no offence
uk would had ripped us appart if we get dual logistics and dual curse i mean the heavy neuts on the phoon would like killed us in no sec really
we nedd to think of a better setup to counter that too so we maybe fit 3 dreads just to be sure ^^ or mabye 3 carriers :P

Originally by: Calmdown Ive done nothing but praise UK on and off camera all tourney, but that setup was horrible. Regardless of what the opposition did, you would have still died horribly to dual logistics. In the time it took you to cap them out and then kill them, you wouldve been torn to bits by whatever DPS there was.
They wouldn't have died horribly to a dual logistics setup if they tweaked a couple of things a bit (talking about that "bait" kronos setup I see... which kinda needed 2xremote reps on the phoons to work like I think they intended to) DPS from 2phoons, kronos, their neutralisers and their drones was sufficient to comfortably break a 4xlarge remote rep logistics ship setup -if they weren't jammed-, while 3-4 remote repairers on the BS's that was primaried would be enough to partly withstand the "low" dps dual logistics teams usualy have. |

Nice show U'K. As said by many, whether you win or lose is in large part decided before you show up. Good job by Exceed for showing up with different set-up.

Calmdown says no, KIA says maybe, eXceed says yes.
Only one way to sort this out. Fiiiiiiiiiiiight!!

Dude, not everyone who plays eve has English as a first langage. How about you write me an essay in German, spanish or french?
Oh right, you cant because your a hick.
Good fight u'k. Its ironic that a normal every day U'K tranq fit of vagabonds and huggins would have done better than our anti logistics rig.... But noboday was expecting that, well played eXceed.

As stated on SHC, well fought eXceed and congrats on getting through. You did out think us and we lost the pre-match game conclusively. Your setup worked rather flawlessly and we lost fair and square.
There's more over on the SHC thread tbh and i cba to write more here in a random whiners thread.
Calmdown, i think we'd have done well vs dual logistics but i'll freely admit it would have been hard pressed vs anything else. That was a gamble and we took it. Sucks that we lost but we took a risk and it didn't pay off. We did well from the first matches and have learnt valuable lessons in the second two.
Looking forward to the next tournament :)

Wow, i was surprised too see how fast that match was over. I expected this one to be the toughest match in the tourney so far, as UK needed to win at all costs.
Have to say it was a pretty brave setup they fielded, and they took a big risk. Their tactics was very much specialized, and it was all a huge gamble.
Kudos 2 U, U'K.
Now show sum luv for IXC PPL

Wow I just looked at the uploaded commentary, seems satvros and stoffer were too busy with their scarfs to bother with the match and whats going on, then when it ended they started slagging UK :\ Guess they were tired at the end of the day or something.

I like to think that was the case too. I have loved the coverage and if everyone agreed with everything they said it would be pretty boring.

i just watched it and the commentary was pretty bad, even if it is the last one im sure its not that hard to look at the screen and see whats happening instead of chattin about scarfs , they didnt notice we were using sentries or that we were nano'd
