I'm not keeping up with everything every GM says but this was said by some GM somewhere in the past. It stated that ANY manipulation of CONCORD was forbidden. Ofcourse this is all scare tactics since like I said b4, it's all nigh impossible to prove the intent of ppl's actions. Same goes for the 'recycling' of alts. Biomassing a neg sec status alt is not forbidden. As long as you don't go overboard you will not get in trouble. Of course it's quite easy to go overboard if all you do is suicide gank and are too lazy to circumvent the negative effects of being a -10.

1. Security status does not prevent someone from entering highsec, it only spawns navy NPCs to attack. Thankfully these geniuses web before they scram so they actually help you travel faster.
2. ONLY GCC creates a CONCORD spawn.
3. I've yet to fully test it, but I believe there are a max of 3 concurrent CONCORD spawns in any one system. What does this mean? If you spawn CONCORD in a belt to gank something you can clear CONCORD by creating 2 more GCC events within the same system, but not the belt.
4. CONCORD has a 150km range. From this range they can instantly DPS/Scram/Neut/ECM you to death. This make big ice belts awesome suicide targets if you do it correctly. Kill something at the bottom of the belt, CONCORD spawns. The top of the belt is over 250km away and you can hit it once your GCC is over.
5. CONCORD does not spawn instantly allowing you to warp off and hit multiple targets. If you are able to alpha the target you have about 5 seconds to get in warp to the 2nd/3rd. Here's a video of us hitting 3 Hulks with the same small gang of arty Thrashers: Hulk Trifecta
6. Creating a CONCORD spawn on purpose is not an exploit, and if you're smart you'll abuse that mechanic as much as possible.
7. Mining is a horrible profession. Once CCP introduced the Drone regions it pretty much made your profession pointless and bot worthy. Hulks are 200m and I can kill them with a 1m gank fit Catalyst. It's dumb and you should seriously just stop mining. |

Is that unusaul as far as response time goes? Now I know that concord did get him eventually, but I was very surprised to see that he was able to blow me up AND escape before concord arrived!....
Also, I went back to the belt afterwards just to see anyone else get zapped (in a shuttle of course)....
No sooner had I warned a fellow miner, another red warps to him, and KABOOOOM! But this time concord did show, BUT he still was able to warp off before punishment was handed out!
I found this very intrigueing (sp).....how did he do that??? I covo'd the Goonswarm culprit, and just said "quick question pls"...
he accepted, and I asked him how did he get away from concord so fast?
His response was "its a secret"...... ok, fair enuff.
But anyone know how it is that a Catalyst, can attack and blow a ship up, and warp away before, if not as soon as concord shows up? You are a Bear. There is no "sharing of information" with the mindless drones of veldspar melting. Nobody likes you. Nobody respects what you do. Your choice of fun in Eve takes absolutely zero skill. umadbroski? Or.. you could mine in a high sec island... or Low sec... or null sec... or W-space... but you can't do it alone.
You of course would need to do this with friends, and be social... I give a high five to high sec suicide ganks.
I myself was recently killed in high sec by some random destroyer. I'm not mad at the person who did it.. more frustrated at myself for not "thinking". I don't plain on repeating my mistakes that got me killed. This is how learning and evolving goes in this game.
So you got your ice ship blown up... meh, it happens. The real crime is when it happens to you a second, third, forth time and your still suprised that it keeps happening. Unless you have calculated the amount of times your ice ship gets toasted into your profit margin... and you still end up on top (profit wise), you need to take this as a expensive leason and move to greener pastures.
I don't know you.. but I can tell you what most bears will do this instance. they will save up thier pennies, buy a new ice ship.. and continue to go afk. It will happen agian... and they will cry and throw things. Don't be that guy! |
