Edited by: Scavok on 09/03/2008 22:40:14 Congrats on taking nearly a year to figure out how to actually use jump bridges+titans to kill RSF/coalition towers in multiple systems.

I think we all stopped counting after 9-9 and 66-, but it's probably between 200-300 bob/pet large pos's killed by now, maybe more.
Kind of got cancelled out by the titan kill though, didn't it?
Which one? Shrike's or Oort's?

Um, surely Goonfleet are there when you're not online. Surely you're not suggesting that they're an inferior fighting force to Goons?
Oh wait, you are.
Can goonswarm take on 7 titans, 50 caps, and 100 support in BoB's home system where they can just grab new ships on their own? Nope. No single alliance could do that alone.

Originally by: General Windypops Edited by: General Windypops on 14/03/2008 22:27:31 Sounds like very poor tactical planning then. Why did you allow BoB to lead the fight to somewhere you're not good enough to beat them? Isn't that just poor military strategy?
What makes it all the more sweet was your gleeful posting when BoB switched the war onto their own terms. I guess you just got totally out-maneuvered.
And don't be so down on Goons - they've got nearly double the members of any other alliance. Surely they would be better placed than any other alliance to take out BoB solo?
We were outmanuevered by BoB sieging a POS in their home NPC station?
Also goons do suck tbqh. So come take this jammer down in QY6, it's only inferior goons here and you outnumber them 2:1.

Its all about the blob spam with you guys isn't it.
What's particularly telling is that Scavok's even admitting that BoB don't just lag out the systems with stupid numbers of pilots. Even his estimate of 'unbeatable BoB' only adds up to 157 in system.
BoB are just that cool

Oh, I thought you said you hadn't left them on their own and the Coalition still stood side by side?
We're in the drone regions, remember?

EVE has been broken, this shot confirms it: and we didn't even get to do it :cripes:
EDIT: That, or massive account sharing: something Shrike's already been warned about
Nah, only when that's under a cyno jammer a cyno jammer is when it's broken. That's definitely beatable by a very realistic number of caps. It would just be pushing the limits of individual alliances, which is why there's a coalition.

Don't put yourself down. Most alliances only DREAM of having the skills and logistics required to kill undefended mining barges in empire. That's done a huge amount to establish Goonswarm as an awesome PVP force, despite what Scavok thinks of your military abilities.
I don't see anyone else killing mining barges in empire. To me that speaks volumes of Goonswarm's ability over everyone else in the game. Get back to me when BoB solo's a hulk in 0.6 with a t1 fit Thorax.

It's "solos" not "solo's". You coalition guys really don't know how to use apostrophes do you?
BTW, Scavok, why did you never answer my question about why you consider Goonswarm incapable of acting on their own without RA command?
Didn't see you ask it. In the ~18 months RA and GS have been working together, I'm the only person in RA that's ever lead anything strategic for GS, and only because of my history in GS. I've only done it 3 or 4 times and always in conjunction with GS FCs and directors. For context, GS normally has 2 or 3 strategic ops per day. Hopefully that answers your rhetorical question.
