Now after getting stripped of your space after being a long-term ally and tenant of BoB, they've decided to reset your alliance. I'd be pretty bitter.

Thats what I would do if I was a Dictator. Keep only the strong armys and toss all the small lambs too the fire that are between me and my goal... Now what goal would that be. Just a guess.

As being in FIX for around 4 yrs I always knew what we were getting ourselves into in the long run and we would be out blobbed. It was a good run and alot of fun. There is nothing wrong with fighting on the right side like I did and the help we got. The forces against BOB have a great chance to learn and have fun. FIX fought against BOB once upon a time and we fought with them and in all instances it was a blast.

BOB always acts in what they perceive to be the best interests of THEIR OWN ALLIANCE. Goonfleet may have started out with the objective of "Ruining EVE for everyone" but somehow along the way they ended up taking on the role of Crusading Hero's fighting to rid the EVE-verse of tyranny and oppression and standing up for those too weak to stand on their own. Nice one Goonies, the world needs more people like you!

Treating allies the same, having myopic views on friends, neighbors, and allies. If you think alienating a solid pvp group in Fountain is the right thing to do, you still have some serious leadership issues. With DoD and SCA fighting in Fountain, it has been 2 alliances vs 5 alliances that are hostile to you. Those 5 alliances are going to keep Fountain from you and continually send blobs your way, because they have no one else to deal with in Fountain - they will now control it all. Like so many failed businesses, you can not compete and win by continually down sizing your space and your members. You need all the friends and allies you can get - in Fountain, everywhere around you. Someone that is helping you outside of Delve, next door, around the block - is still helping you. We were more than willing to stay friends and do our part to help keep bad guys in Fountain occupied and off your backs, now you will have to handle it more alone than before. I wish BoB the best of luck, and hope they pull it back from the brink. EXE has continued to have good relations with bob and if we decided to reset one another (of bob us), I would be bigger than coming onto CAOD to complain about it. I still wish you guys luck and I doubt it will change your daily operations much.

I think BoB are about the only alliance in this game that play it the way it's meant to be. Cleaning of standings after committing to such a long list clears more confusion and wrong doing than not. They did not say they were turning you red and actively hunting you. They simply put you into a neutral state which means please don't enter there space. Sure there may be the random killing from either side in Non BoB territories, but it's not like they're war decking you. Even with alliances like FIX, it's just not the same relationship it once was. God bless those guys, they fought til the bitter end and will always keep a reputation of one of the hardest to kill alliances out there. That being said, a lot of their members and corps have moved on to new places. Until you start managing corp and alliances status for your own alliance, you really have no room to talk. Simply put, it's a pain in the ass dealing with 50 different + statuses alone. God if you only saw the mails every day about friendly fire b/c something wasn't set right. Most of the corps/alliances reset don't interact much with the GBC just now anyways so its really just a case of cutting excess standings. If we [EXE] were to leave delve and do our own thing we wouldn't expect BoB to keep us blue for long either. Likewise i would hope if any of them wanted to come back to Delve and get involved in an organised way they would be given standings back pretty quick. I do feel sorry for guys like Lucias though who are a regular fixture in Delve even if they are the only ones from their corp/alliance down there, they will be missed.

When I recently got my alt recruited into Goon I was told that it was you guys alone who stood up for justice and the best interest of the galaxy. I was given the example of the FTZ as one of your major accomplishments. Also that you were anti-elitists whose chief joy was giving noobs a chance to play with the big boys. I think what we are dealing with is a case of Goons not "getting" themselves! You are the good guys now, like it or not!
