In my pimped out super shield cyclone (hurricane just couldnt cut it for angels). Only thing is, I have trouble break there shield tanks. It's kind of embarrassing... but It takes them forever to get close to killing me and I just warp out, but I cant kill them either. Not solo anyway... Can a cyclone just not kick the damage to take Angel BS spawns?

With arties or AC?
AC with 3 gyros shouldn't be a problem.

It sure can. Don't know if it can tank the belt at the same time with the same setup, tho.
You use high explosive dmg ammo ?
What are your higslots ?
What are your lowslots ?

usually you should either use t2 ships or BS-size ships, t2 fitted with nice support skills to kill triple bs-spawns in belts. Raven/Isthar/Sleipnir are very good for ratting Angels imo.

HI's---
5x 425 vulcans loaded with EMP M ammo (explosive dmg)
3x Assault Launchers with piranha missles (explosive dmg)
MID's---
2x Large Extenders
Active Explosive Hardner
Active Kinetic Hardner
Large Booster
LOW's---
2x gyro's
2x PDU's
Drones---
4x Med Valk's (explosive dmg)

replace emp they are not that good against angels

Fusion does double the explosive damage that EMP does even though the total damage output is lower. And it has longer range to boot.
EMP isn't really useful for missioning/'ratting because any NPC that is weak against Em is strong against explosive and vice versa.

i use to have an armor rep cyclone and it tanked 0.0 belts fine and such but i had arty's with EMP and 2x heavy missile launchers lol but this was b4 i saw the shield boost bonus it got lol and i was over 1 1/2-2yrs old ingame lol kind of stupid on my part but it tanked actually better then it would shield tankin for me but my shield skills have sky rocketed along wit my missile skills so yea but
a good setup should be able to take those out im pretty sure i killed one with a stabber or ruputre b4 lol

Cyclone probably barely does the job, but why torture yourself. Train up to BS and not have this problem.
I remember when I first went into 0.0 I flew a hurricane and was killing triple 1.5 mil Angel spawns...it was slow but it worked. Which is why I smartened up and trained BS.
Worth doing if you are going to rat for a while, even if your skills aren't up to par.

Activetank it, you are wasting the bonus.
And use fusion.
