Every time they patch this always happens and we never seem to get anything back, we pay for one month sub knowing there will be a 1 hour downtime and not being able to play for a whole day I find unacceptable. I mean the server is a pile of crap and frigging often lose ships due to how unstable it is and CCP give nothing back from that, even though it's their fault.
I just don't get how people have played sooo long and accepted this crap?

You have also accepted it. When you decided you wanted to play EVE. Read the EULA.
Also, the patches and expansions are free. thats more what we can say about expansions etc. for other game. and they dont give back money either when they update their servers.

no you dont.
they give you free updates and free expansions.. unless you want to start paying for those then you ain getting back anything... and if 15$ is too much for you... then better quit and use the money for something better.

I used to work at a movie theater and would have a lady push down on the popcorn and tell me to fill the bag.
I didn't know people liked their popcorn pre crushed

No, CCP no longer takes responsibility for its screw ups. If something goes wrong that unfortunate but you won't be getting a refund simply because they failed to deliver what you paid for.

You will get the 1 day back IF you pay Ç40 for every expansion CCP released, sounds like a good deal? :)

You've had your turn, get to the back of the queue.
To the OP, No.
Think of it like road tax, your paying for a service, and your getting it, the fact that the service very rareley requires you to get stuck in traffic while they fix something is part of what you pay for.
Or, if you like, you can pay extra for expantions, and get stuck there anyway, is that what you want? no? stop whineing then.
Go play WoW if you like getting charged for expantions AND gametime and still not being able to play while they are deployed. -
(combat) Patch belonging to CCP hits your drones, wrecking their liberty and freedom.

I think they should put up a "special" server for people like the OP. A server where there is never any patches, and all patches that have been added since release are removed, so they are stuck with EVE 1.0. This way the OP would be happy, and could live a life without any patches, which I am sure he would enjoy.

this is a very good point OP.
only the other day i forgot to set a skill training and missed 2 hours of valuable training time. WHEN WILL I GET MY 2 HOURS BACK CCP? WHEN DAMMNIT! won't somebody think of the children, CCP?!
i think you should hold out for financial compensation for the emotional turmoil of a whole day without the forum yesterday, and MORE THAN 2 HOURS without eve.

It would be nice if they could 'compensate' for lost time, but I can't say I'm all that bothered by it seeing as our skills still trained and such. ...

You are correct! Because of this you will now be charged 25$ per expansion. Now you can sit and clap your hands everytime you get back 50 cent from an extended downtime, all while the rest of us continue to enjoy the free expansions and the free patches we get from ccp.
Now stop posting and read the EULA which you cannot play without accepting.

You don't get money back because there was a patch or february has less days.
It's a monthly flat rate. Daily downtime and occasional patch days are part of the package you pay for.
Feel safe in the knowledge you wereb't the first to bring that up. Actually it's a couple of folks *every* patch day.
Would you rather that patches don't happen or that CCP wastes effort on micromanaging small payments instead of improving and administrating Eve?
There's no accounting system in place to pay back fractional fees and there is quite a diversity of pay methods: credit card, direct debit, now via Steam and what about GTC?
It's simply not worth the hassle and *again* patch days are part of the eve package you pay for.
