Anyway, if he has actually taken the time to spam the moderators with Report requests which actually make no sense out of a semi-hysteria attack, I do hope he gets warned / banned.

I doubt a public letter to CCP is going to be more effective than a private petition, and as you can see you just open yourself up to a lot of abuse from the forum bratz. I do agree that in some cases of completely FUBAR patches that take away considerable gaming time from paying customers that CCP should be willing to make some form of small restitution.
P.S. Trolling threads for the opportunity to say "Epic Fail" is pretty weak.

Excuse me, but as you suggest that you have played for several years, you should know something about the company and the community and therefore have some understanding of the problems that occur when dealing with patchs and revisions server and client side occuring.
I personally find it strange that you did not have the foresight to take into account the past patchs deployed and set a skill that would take several days, i did as a 7 week old player, but i have a basic understanding of what can go wrong with patch's and i have read eve's history, so i was prepared.
I'm sure you should read the ELUA again, section 12 says you agree to stuff like this happening, software is not sold like a car etc, if it was you never would have heard of Microsoft.
Now you've had your hissy fit and moment of flame, go play the game.

Personally i like patch days, I set long skills 3 days and up, put on long build and research jobs, quit EVE and get some much needed work done, or read a good book or 2.
Just finnished Galaxy in Flames by Ben Couinter, and about to start Fulgrim by Graham McNeill...
(yes. i'm reading the Horus Heresy series out of order, but do i care... noooooooo.)

Its a fact that some patch days consists of problem solving. From what ive heard, you guys who played from beta should have experienced much worse patch days than yesterday.
If you are so addicted to a computer game that you get angry about the game not being available for a day, you are in trouble my friend. Dont try to make it sound like its about you losing half a dollar or whatever, this is not about that and you know it.
Patch days will always be like this so live with it or get off the train. CCP cant predict every possible problem that can occur in a complex game like this. You comparing it with a car is just amusing and you would know that if you knew computer tech. :)

1st let me say that I am not mad about the patch.Secondly I did set long training skill. I was out on buissness when they said the patch was going t be out on tuesday I didn't know about the postponement till I got back and the server was already down.
So in a matter of speaking i was prepared for the server to be up wednesday when i got back from my trip. All you epic forum trolls and wannabe noob name callers need to grow up if you do a search on my name you will see i don't complain and that my post are mostly 100% of the time positive feedback or trying to help outthe fellow player.
I wasn't asking for reimbursement of my lost training time or complaining about the patch i was upset that i have been trying to log on to a none populated area of space and for me to keep getting that message after the patch and after down time after the patch just upset me. I bascally ventted and i knew there were going to be a bunch of forum trolls whith no remorse or sorrow for the way i was feeling. So to those who did feel my pain I thank you for those who are trolls grow up and get a real life and stop spaming the forums with your EPIC fail crap and come to grips that just because your a nerd and have no friends and your mom teased you with her boobies when you wantted to be nursed. It don't give you the right to be complete utter arses on the forums. Nuff said. You lose and will continue to lose.
