While I may resemble that remark at the momenent, I do have to say that sometimes they do it to themselves. Some of the methods of "balancing" they choose are overly complex, and contain more nerf than more often is required.
For example the most talked about "balancing" in this thread seems to refer to the resist changes, which according to Zulu were to boost Amarr. Yet these resist changes do not boost Amarr for PVE. Nor does this "boost" equally effect all races, those that do mostly Kin/Therm damage reap no benifit. Wouldnt a simplier approach been to either up the raw damage from Amarr weapon platforms or maybe added more Therm damage at the expense of EM to their crystals? Maybe there was another more simplier opition out there than these, instead of a dramatic Eve-verse change such as they implemented.
Although I do agree with CCP, while I, as an Amarrian Pilot, would have LOVED EXP damage crystals, it would have been the wrong and overpowered way to go.
Yeah i do agree with pritty much everything you say, and yes sometimes they do say things that are bound to encourage a reaction, though i also think the culture of the whine is getting out of control, if its not one thing its always anouther, and i'm sure that over the last few years the whiners have gotten more vocal and less civil, and that at least in part is leading to the devs being less communitive with us, but i also agree than the resistance change was the wrong way to go, but whats done is done.
The sad thing is the actual contructive feedback is more and more getting drowned out by crys of ZOMGNERF! and people borderline or beyond flameing the devs who try to awnser ligitimate questions.
PS: Though i have to disagree, this is definateley an amarr boost.. but also a nerf, seeing that EM resist gap on my thanatos, and talking about it on TS earlier, we all agreed next capital engagement we're in - Amarr BS's will be primary
