Like I already Stated, its a Damage Boost.
This is the very reason why i rarely decide to make points on the forums. I must accept the fact that most are mentally challenged or yearning for some sort of credibility they don't get when not playing a video game. Especially the yahoo who resorted to balance some chemical equation to prove his pointless point.
Go shoot a structure, more damage? uh no. thank you and good night.
Yes, everyone who disagrees with you is clearly mentally challenged. ---------------- Tarminic - 33 Million SP in Forum Warfare Play EVE: Downtime Madness v0.79.2 |

Originally by: Treelox well a UNIVERSAL negative effect to ALL resist, sure seems like a nerf, no matter how it gets spun by the PR department.
It's also a universal positive to all damage.
EDIT: Whoops, posted with dev alt. ---------------- Tarminic - 33 Million SP in Forum Warfare Play EVE: Downtime Madness v0.79.2 |

Originally by: Aprudena Gist i'm talking more like these sniping torpedo rats and such the weapon systems should be the same.
Aside from consistency, is there any real reason to do this? ---------------- Tarminic - 33 Million SP in Forum Warfare Play EVE: Downtime Madness v0.79.2 |

its kinda dumb to have a ship shoot torpedoes at you from 100km away when you get like 25-30 km with em. And because its still on the same damage scale so it would be nice to be consittant.
Actually, wouldn't they need to increase the damage of the torpedos by at least 30% to compensate? Considering that mission runners can't outrun NPCs with standard raven setups, wouldn't mission running against torpedo-wielding NPCs instantly become significantly harder? ---------------- Tarminic - 33 Million SP in Forum Warfare Play EVE: Downtime Madness v0.79.2 |

Originally by: Elmicker So, either you're lying, or the news post is lying. Pick one.
Sorry, but this is a logically flawed argument. Any change affects some people positively and other people negatively, so therefore every chane is a nerf by your definition, regardless of what it actually is or does. ---------------- Tarminic - 33 Million SP in Forum Warfare Play EVE: Downtime Madness v0.79.2 |

Edited by: Tarminic on 13/03/2008 22:25:33 Does everyone in this thread realize that they are arguing over the definition of a nerf in an internet spaceship game? I think you should go out and get some fresh air, maybe feel some boobs, and chill out a little.
Originally by: Kagura Nikon Then CCP IS LYING when they say its a nerf free patch. Simple.
Okay, fine. Yes, this patch has things you consider nerfs. Now what? ---------------- Tarminic - 33 Million SP in Forum Warfare Play EVE: Downtime Madness v0.79.2 |
