Here's a suggestion.
Currently one character per account can train. I recommend:
One Account 1 Character can train
Two Accounts 1 Character can train in 1st account 2 Characters can train in 2nd account
Three (or more) Accounts 1 Character can train in 1st account 2 Characters can train in 2nd account 3 Characters can train in 3rd account
There is still incentive to have multiple account with this idea.

This kind of screws over people with just one account, doesn't it? I don't think your ability to succeed should increase exponentially with the number of accounts you hold.
Also, this would end up with people purchasing less accounts, because someone with 4 accounts doesn't want to manage 9 different characters. ---------------- Tarminic - 33 Million SP in Forum Warfare Play EVE: Downtime Madness v0.79.2 |

So, I move my two main characters to the 2nd account, and keep them training, as well as a new alt training on the first.
I like it.
Of course, people are going to whine about it, lots. -----

Not really. You have one account - you can train one character. No difference to you.
On the otherhand, there are people already with multiple accounts. They derive benefit, but that in no way makes your situation worse.

Fail.
Why would CCP cut off a source of profit. There's a one character training limit per account for a reason. Multiple accounts.

Its say you can't tell a suggestion from a whine. I'm happy with my 6 accounts, and you must be blissful, knowing what they say about bliss.

True, but I'm worse off in comparison. Currently:
Me: 1 account, 1 trainable character Dude: 5 accounts, 5 trainable characters. Seems pretty fair to me - he pays 5x as much for 4x the benefit
Under the system you've proposed: Me: 1 account, 1 trainable character Dude: 5 accounts, 12 trainable characters.
I should 4 extra accounts really give you 12 times the benefit? Not to mention the convenience granted by having alts.
Of course, no one is going to play 12 characters at once so my comparison is a bit on the improbable side, but the general concept is sound (I think anyway). There are already significant benefits to having additional accounts, I don't think they need to be boosted in any way. ---------------- Tarminic - 33 Million SP in Forum Warfare Play EVE: Downtime Madness v0.79.2 |

Evemon mon doncha know!
Bad idea as multiple account users already have a big advantage over single account users. Marketing might like it though. --------------------- Q: WTF! Why?! A: Because I can. --------------------- |

Uh, let me think, No!
I am fine with the multiple accounts I have. While the suggestion initially sounded half way appealing I then realized that for a good many people the third account would be nothing but a farm for selling characters for isk - or worse. ___________ Velden Marid

Stupid idea. In-game advantages should not be given to people based on how much real-life money they can funnel into EVE. Selling GTCs for ISK already violates this principle, so we don't need any more of it.

Those with multiple accounts already have a huge advantage over those with one, and you want to increase that gap?
I hate patch week. The forums go insane with whines and get an above average amount of trolls and sincere but stupid ideas.

Exactly. Those extra trainable slots would likely be used to create characters to sell for ISK.

In a sea of bad ideas, your suggestion is a tsunami.
Why would CCP adopt a policy that results in less revenues?
How do you associate accounts with each other? (Before you say credit card # keep in mind that a good number of people, myself included, are forced to buy time cards to pay for this game).
How do you determine the order of accounts in your scheme?

I am a multi-account guy and I oppose this idea.
The ability to pay for multiple accounts already gives us inherent advantages over those who can only afford one account. Some of these advantages are already being exploited to oblivion.
No matter how many accounts you have, each of your individual accounts should be on a level playing field with everyone else's account.
Now, give a slight subscription discount to additional accounts: I would agree to that since it does not directly affect the in-game character - it only affects our ability to actually buy a decent meal while continuing to pay for EVE subscriptions. But this idea would also be prone to several exploits.
