The corporation Carebear Exterminators is a full member of that alliance and they are well known agent mission bookmark campers.

If they're exploiting then petition it and have the GM's deal with it officially. If they're pirating, kill them, pay them or run from them, other than that, don't really care.

One person isn't necessarily representative of an entire alliance, y'know....
(I'm guessing you're referring to Fugazii here, who I know has been camping Auenenen since before I started the game.)

Still, if you're not doing anything about it, it says a few things about C4's anti-piracy stance, no?

CELES are true piratehunters. They fight pirates everywhere as proven in some of their videos. Maybe you should read the boards more often to know what they're doing . -------------------------------------------------

chill man, i think the problems are that alliances open themselves to attack when they have pirates hiding in their ranks, no?..
seems folks think they can be part of an alliance and still pirate, thus meaning that they will not be hunted due to "ppl being scared of upsetting others"....

Heh when will people actually realize that noone in C4/CA gives a rats behind whether you percieve us as pirates. We do what we gotta do to have fun in game, if you dont like it, your welcome to do something about it. Otherwise, you might as well crawl back to the nice comfy cave you made for yourself in that veldspar roid.

Well, according to the C4 recrutment posts from a few weeks ago, they specifically mention that they don't care if thier member corps are pirates/non pirates, they just want "warriors". Also, just because one corp in an alliance is a pirate corp, dosn't make the entire alliance a pirate alliance, it just makes them an alliance that condones/supports pirates, but thats just getting technical.

C4 profiles itself being a military alliance. So if any member of them is pirating it's of no militairy importance besides getting assets like rare modules or such its not helping the alliance whatsoever. Also attacking a solo cruiser or BS that's not expecting isn't that honorable as well. It's a smart tactic for sure but being a hardend warrior residing to this will not give as much fun as fighting someone you're at war with and is a good match. And if camping known mission BM's is regarded as an exploit its just plain stupid to try to do it anyway. ___________________________ Favorite bumpersticker of the month: My head hurts! |

Quote: The Code of Honor
1. When in-game refrain from unprovoked attacks on civilian ships, this being any non-military ship, unless ordered to do so or there is a state of war between the ship and or corp. Also refrain from podding unless hunting a lawful bounty or ordered to do so by OC officers.
Although the OC public website has not been updated since late Beta/early Retail, there has been no new code drafted and as such the one currently published stands (as I plot my course in Eve). This of course is not necessarily how other C4 member corps may allow their members to act.
IMO there is a fine line between piracy and griefing, and IME some "self-titled" bounty/pirate hunters are just as likely to jump straight past piracy to griefing.
If you have a problem with an individual's actions, first address it with them, if that fails then address it to their CEO, then if you still do not receive you might consider taking it to their alliance - but it would have to be somewhere above a personal incident to do that.
On the issue of agent mission bookmark campers; there is another thread where this issue is discussed at length. However, once the Covert Ops ships make it onto Tranq then you should expect any spot as possible to be located by all and sundry, with the possibility of a cloaked ship sitting where you warp to.
An NPC Corporation is not the pilot of its ships and structures! |

See Duke, I told you you need to update that thing.

I must admit your topic title and post are a bit confusing for me, I think you want to know if the C4 alliance are pirates? If that is your question the link I provided above might help to find answer your question, if not, pose it there.
