Edited by: Artashes II on 13/03/2008 22:42:14 What is interesting, I have changed nothing in my laptop. And I have another client on another laptop here, and it works fine after the patch. Eve-o site works fine, the other web-sites are ok too. Who knows what to do? :) BTW my windows firewall does NOT block the game.

I've had the same problem for a few weeks now, but for me it happens when I open up a 2nd eve client
for some reason the 2nd client won't connect while the first client already is

Edited by: Artashes II on 19/03/2008 22:23:35 Ok. I finally found the problem in one of my laptops. The thing is that Norton Antivirus (Internet Security, actually) has its own firewall (besides the internal windows xp firewall). Some time ago I switched off all the start up programs and NAV startups too (have to mention that my laptop began to work much faster then it used to work before), and after it as far as I understand now the NAV did not work properly and did not create the new rules for EVE after the patch. So for me there were two ways of solving the problem: to uninstall NAV completely or to make it create the right firewall rules. But to uninstall it I had to switch on all that start ups which I had switched off before, and as far as I switched all that crap (invl. NAV start up progs) back again after the reload when I tried to start EVE it created the rule for it automatically. So, if it will help anyeone. If your ping, tracert are ok, but you cannot login via TELNET protocol to 87.237.38.200 26000, there is something, blocking yr traffic, even if you think there is nothing that could do that... So keep watching for such a prog or just reinstall this f* windows :)
