Hey
My corp is now looking to extend it self into 0.0 and hopefully join an alliance (not rent). We currently have T2 manufacturing and will be cap ready when we make the final move. We are not looking to move tomorrow, we need to do some research on this topic so to get the best option for this, the benfits of us joining the selected alliacne would be T2 production (modules and ships), pvp support from all our members (we would be more than happy to join in on any conflict to support our alliance) and to have another few cap ships in the deisgnated area.
What we would be looking for is
0.0 (obviously) Access to Outposts Not the Front Line (Dont want to be a meatshield) Would possibly be looking to moon harvest Active pvp in the area that we can join in on Good mining prospects and good ratting
Evemail Craig0ss in game or convo me if anyone has any offers, obviously all this is open for negotiation.
Hope to hear from you soon

this is gonna sound harsh... sorry.
You are going to have a hard time joining a good 0.0 alliance when you write in your requirements "Not the frontline". What exactly does that mean? That others should be on the front line to keep your 8 man corp safe to make isk?
Just a suggestion, remove that from your requirements and I think you will get more serious offers.

well if you took the time to read the post and use that thing that god gave you im sure it wouldnt take you long to come up with the conclusion that i dont want my corpies thrown into the front line and used a "Meat Shield", it also states that we will fight and support any alliance we join, which should also indiacte that we are not just along for the ride!
is it a good idea to setup T2 production on the front line that would be used to support the alliance members> i think not, that would be a waste of time and resources
thanks you

first of all, setting up t2 bpo production in an outpost is a bad idea. Second, i did read your post. In a 0.0 alliance, everyone needs to fight and be on the frontline or the alliance does not last long. Ask anyoone currently fighting in a hostile environment that it is an 0.0 alliance, they will agree. Sorry if i offended you, but its just the reality of the 0.0 life. Everyone is the meatshield :)

I have to agree with Two here, especially with the situation most alliances find themselves in, also with only having 8 members within your corporation you may find most offers are for you merging into current alliance members corps.
I know that if you guys applied to join GTA, I would unfortunately turn you down basically on the numbers basis.
The best suggestion I could give you is grow some more, get more active guys and then try for an alliance, but get ready for hardship, unless you join a very well established alliance, and they ... are very hard to get into.
Don't take what I say badly, heck 4 months ago there was only 15 in my corp, now it's over 70 :) Also you'd be better putting this into the recruitment section of the forums.

FFS, i wont bother post anymore, all you get is sad people browsing the forums for someone to winge at. get a life an do us all a favour, you have no idea what im on about, im not new to 0.0 and wouldnot mine/build where the fighting is, but the 0.0 resources are extremly important in t2 production!#
please dont post any more unless its to do with my original post. IE an alliance dip interested in the offer, an another thing, i dont want 70 people in my corp, i only want 8!

no one in the allaince is a meat sheild u have ur set roles for when u go out you can be a few thing the tank setup with bs or command ship/drake, ewar, Pure dmg, scout in cov ops/scanner reccomended for you if u you like being cloaked most mights ROLF CAKE Boaring. or if ur little cheap go for the cruisers insurance fruad setup recommended for most noob like ur self in 0.0 till u get the hang of things.
no offence but any well established 0.0 alliance already has T2 production going and you find if you wanna get in, bring one of 2 things a **** load of money to pump into the allaince, or a bunch of good people willing to put their ass on the line at all cost to defend the space they live in.
walking around and being the princess corp of the allaince with T2 production aint gonna get you nothin. hence why no one has responded with a offer HHE OFFCIAL WEB SITE

Get numbers up, alliances don't care if you're a 8 man corp, people don't want a lot of corporations, it creates the "too many chiefs and not enough indians" situation, everyone is tugging in their own direction, and nothing gets done.
Boost numbers somehow, learn how to work with people, and if you say "we don't like having other people" then don't join an alliance, since you cant stand other people, right? Get alts in or something, if you have 8 long time players (by the sounds of it) you'll have alts, bring them in to give an appearance of being a larger corporation.
Everyone is a meatshield, don't be under any illusions that you're special in any way and deserve to sit back and chill.
Moon harvesting is an alliance commodity, not a corporation commodity, unless your alliance has a small number of corps, either way, you wont get special rights to good moons by 'being' there/who you are.
Mining and Ratting is good -> decent through all 0.0, pointless...point.
Active PvP = good thing to mention, but don't rely on others to start the pvp gangs, take the intiative and create your own corporation roams, and have some fun as a group.
If you're going to remove a signature, at least make sure it's got something that breaks the EULA, k-ta. |

Well since my first post everyone that has posted seems real negative and very quick to point out any fault, even if that is not what ive done, the RL friend part just basically means that we dont want any one in our CORP that we dont know well (through eve, or RL) this is because we have had bad expericances with this kind of thing before, thiefs etc in the internal working of the corp, im not or didnt say we work well with others so please stop there. Ive already said that numbers dont really matter as we have already seen some interst. I dont think we are special or think we are entitle to special treament, i was just sayin we would be LOOKING to moon harvest to help to help T2 production and in turn support the alliance, not looking for special treament and dont expect it

what is that about, i havnt said we wont start our gangs, so whats the point in posting that, we will start our own gangs and would like to join in on others to, i was saying we are interested in it as well as the industrial side.

There not being negitive there just tell you the way things are. I get several inqiry's every week to join RoadKill. The very first thing I do is look at corp numbers, if it's not 100 I don't even look at the bio. 100 characters probably means about 20-25 actives with alts.
And with only eight players you will be a very ineffective addition to an alliace. Because it would probibly rare to have all eight of your members online at the same time.
Most alliances would require you to run multiable pos's in an alliance something that 8 characters would have a hard time doing.
I think my corp runs something like 44 pos's in itself.

IM not a alliance leader or a ceo but if this 8 man corp can do effective t-2 production I would think they would make a good addition as a small industry wing. To myself any corp no matter the size can be a good addition depending on their specialty. Darth Maule

Thanks for the 2 last posts guys, i understad that only an 8 man corp might not be that appealing to all, its shame as roadkill would of been nice ;), but as from the previous post i explained that our 8 members are all close friends and so only really play when the others are on, we have set days when all memebers are active and go do group operations, we do this to satisfy the fact that we cant play all the time, so we maximise on the time we do get to play by arranging to be active when everyone else is.
This is where the t2 production comes in, and t1 of course, we can set build, invents etc etc to go while we are not online, i understand that 8 members would not be able to operate 44 pos's however we would be more than able to operate a few for an alliance as well our own (to help with our t2 prod).
thanks for your input guys/gals
