Had a G5 for probably a year and a half now and works and looks like the day I bought it. I used to be a pretty hardcore gamer in FPS back in the trackball/optical days and now I can really feel the advantage a true laser mouse gives you. Trackball mice are like trying to use a 486 to run eve. ________

Edited by: Valentina Gallatoire on 18/03/2008 04:34:43 Logitech MX518 - actually I'm not even sure, but it looks like that one. No complaints. I'm not surprised to see it highly rated by that mouse roundup. It has served me well in UT, CoD, WoW and EVE. Whenever I buy a new mouse, I'll probably buy one with similar design - two buttons + wheel button on top, two on the side, optical (NOT laser) tracking, and a cord. That Deathadder looks pretty slick, tbh, but the Logitech is still going strong.

G5 for being the only optical mouse I've found so far that tracks on my shiney desk.

Logitech G9. Works fine in FPS games as far as I am concerned and I prefer the ergonomics of that to the the kidney-shape of the G5 and MX513. Adjustable weight cartridge a plus. Switchable mouse wheel between ratcheting and free spinning a double-plus. Lots of configuration options is the icing on the cake. The grip swapping thing is a bit of a gimmick though.

That's at least TWO CCP bods that use the G9, and if that wasn't enough, I also use the G9, and I rule, so the deal is sealed, G9 4tw ------ THE TX |

I use a Razer mouse..
However, before everyone starts shouting at me, it's not one of the silly expensive ones, it's a Krait. It works VERY well indeed and wasn't expensive. Linky
I can genuinely recommend this mouse.

Edited by: Sharupak on 18/03/2008 20:41:44 I dont think it matters to much unless maybe you play an FPS. I actually had to look under my mouse to figure out what piece of crap I had Mx500 from logitec. It fits in my hand pretty good. I like it because it doesnt kink the **** out of my wrist. I think it came with the case I bought! I definitely recommend it though as it has also lasted me a long time. I guess its what you notice. Mice dont really bother me, now if I sit behind some jacked up keyboard...I will be *****ing up a storm! _______________________________________________ RuntimeError: ChainEvent is blocking by design, but you're block trapped. A Lachesis would be cool for playing Eve ;)
However, I prefer Razer mice, because they have less weight and are not so "clumsy" like Logitech ones. but it's a matter of taste (or gender).

I'm still using MX510 mouse from Logitech :) IMO, probably the best mouse there is besides the updated version, think it was MX515 or 520. forgot :s
Could use the updated mouse, but the 510 still works great. -----------------------------------
