Dark Canyon Corp is an industrial corporation based out of the Essence region. We do mining, missions, manufacturing and invention. And we are looking for similarly minded players.

Hello,
I just found your thread, and your corporation seems to be what I'm looking for...
Though, I have so far not very much to offer... I'm a 32 old guy (yeah, I keep playing even after the 30's ;) ), from Belgium. I played Eve like 2 years ago, and then dropped, because my character was totally unbalanced, and I couldn't do anything... Now, I'm coming back to Eve, and starting it all from scratch. My current character is built on my true skills, and whishes.
I've started building my learning skills (all lvl 4 now, and 1 lvl 5). Now, I just started, with the help of Evemon, my training for a bigger ship (should be ok to buy within 12 days).
I'm also a very bad fighter. I did some missions, to raise money, and beeing able to buy bigger ships, but I always had to cancel the last mission (the more important one with high money gain, and points) because I couldn't finish those rats (I told you, I suck with fighting... This is really not for me).
I am now ready to start a "main story line" mission, but I fear the combats already. I'm mostly doing now manufacturing, mining and inventing missions.
My thing is more to think, and make money out of it... Like where to buy what item, and where to sell it making profit... or to find what I could build and sell it after to make profit.
The aim of my character in game is to start mining, manufacturing, and inventing, until I could afford a POS to make more profit from those actions.
The only thing refraining me from going further, is, as you can imagine, money problem (fresh new character... blablabla...)
What am I looking for ? Well, a corporation that could help me with some combat missions when I have to do them, and the rest is to have fun, on the quiet side of eve.
I also sorry for my english, but this is only my third language, french beeing my mothertongue.
For more info on me, you can always ask me ingame (when I'm loggued, which is as soon as I have 5 minutes free and home ;) )or send me a mail ;)
Hope to have some news soon, even if negative (I could understand that a total newbie with a small ship, nearly no money (just a short 3.000.000 isk) and with no combat skills is not interesting... But hey, who doesn't try, doesn't know right ?

Sounds like what i may be looking for. I suppose it depends on what area of space your offices are in, I currently mine around Attyn. I'll attempt to contact you in game. Been playing about 3 months, working on Mining barge level 5 now and doing some manufacturing. Not much into pvp. |
