Hey Woz,
Just open the dxdiag file and copy the top portion that contains your basic computer info and paste it on your bug report and a screenshot of the error (Alt+PrtScn) and include the screen shot. that should be all CCP needs as far as DXdiag goes.

I have the same problem but it happens during playing .
Sometimes windows crash so hard that the computer resets and 1 time it even dit reset my motherboard bios .

Hey mate thanks for the reply. I ended up zipping the files and that seemed to work. Appreciate the tip though - I sent a couple more bug reports last night - its just not possible to send them all cos, well, when I get home from work late I like to spend some time having fun as well :)

Yup - I sometimes get a blue screen crash from it as well. Hard to tell if its related though but its usually when I amn playing Eve.

Yup thats the one - frighteningly familiar.
I downgraded to the standard Eve last night and only had two crashes in about 2 hours of playing. Compared to my previous crashing every 5 minutes scenario this is slightly more tolerable but in essence still makes the game unplayable to any extent.
Weekend now so I will log a few more crashes and post the bug report numbers in here in the vain hope this helps fix the problem.
When I can get back in I am loving the game - nice to finally find an online game I can settle to again, not so nice I can't enjoy it fully ... yet!

Have any of you guys found a solution to this problem as im getting it aswell.
I never had this problem playing eve on my ****ty laptop running xp, now im on vista its seems like alot of hassle. But mine isnt when im leaving the game its when i drop out of warp, i run 2 accounts at once, but only one happens at a time, it also accours every 10 to 30 mins.
Im running the nvidia 8800gtx on vista, all new drivers but still no solution. I am gona try unistalling it again, but this time wiv downlaoding the client, im driving 2o imns up the road to pick it up of a mate. His is Been download for a few months, so that might be a solution, ill let ya guys know.
Ohh and ccp to you message you put about sending and error report about the problem to microsoft, no that doesnt come up at all, all i get it that ill be notified if a solution is found.

I removed Windows XP and i dit a fresh install of Vista 64 bits and after 5 min a see this blue screen of dead .
There must be someting realy wrong to get a blue screen of dead in Vista :)

I downgraded from Premium version and that seems to have stabilised it somewhat but i still keep getting crashes. Just keep putting in your bug reports when you can and I I am sure it will be fixed soon enough.

I belive i may have fixed my problem wiv this error atm. I have found that it only happens when i run eve in a window mode, but if i run full screen it dont happen. Which is quite a problem as then i cant run both my accounts at the same time.

I am running premium but like it still happens. Where do i find my file i need to add to bug reports, so then i can help with that. On another note thought, i never get it while running full screen and in window mode, and not when i exit the game, but when im comming out of warp. But not after every warp.
You say that it will be fixed soon, the first post on this matter was made back in march, we are now in june, so its 3 months and still no soultion to this matter. Im not bothered bout running it in full screen but then i cant run my second account which sucks.
Please ccp fix this as at the moment im spending r/l money but not gettin the game play time.

This happens more often lately.
Situation was: Had FW warfare in Oldmans Star, slaughtered some Caldaris in a Fleet battle of 80 vs 70 (gallente being latter also won of course). Docked back in Villore and was chatting w/lads and got these two exe crashes.
Also at other times game freezes promting a hard restart. This could be due to gfx drivers or even dxdialogue issues. Not howevr the exe error.
..has not happened in any type of conflict situation yet, usually when auto piloting or sitting in station..
I like the game, fix it so I can play it please. Thanks.

Strange, this only affects my desktop and whichever client I'm currently using on that computer.
My laptop is unaffected by either the ExeFile crashing or the continuous isp disconnects.
Very strange....

Since lots of posters to this thread now are not suffering from crashes when eve exits then that is a differnt problems
eve crashing on exit has not happened to me since the patch.
eve crashing during play probably needs a BR see This Thread for detailed info
just posting random logs here will not help.
also if it says should I send this to microsoft then do so as ccp and microsoft work together on those. [wont go for an instant fix but helps in the long run]

I use to get this crash with every quit of the client, then I updated to the latest Nvidia drivers, and I have not seen it since. I suspect different people get this crash for different reasons. The fun of debugging.

Can you please file bug reports on this issue and attach the relevant logs. If you guys are running the Logserver it would be excellent as well. We can investigate the issue and pass it on the appropriate devs.

Ya, i have this to once a while
it's just a pain in the ass to fill it in. ( incluse a cheap application to get "basic" hardware + versions (hint valve way) to use for bug report, no not dxdiag
and the worst ting is there is no Acknowledge of the report.
Ive send some reports and as of today its still there =]
so i dont bother sending bug reports, we have the forum for that kins of things. ppl vna reply on it, in bugreports not
can make a public harmless bug report section on the site? so you dont have to read duplicate bugs?
