EVE radio adverts are a scam. I filled out an application and paid the fee for an EVE radio advert in early December. There has been no advert made. I have attempted to get a refund by contacting the EVE radio advert manager, but I just get the run around.
Based on my multiple attempts to get my isk back yielding no result, I am calling this a scam. It would be my recommendation not to use this service as you will probably never see an advert or your isk returned.

Tempest just gave you a link to his e-mail address, I suggest you use it THEN bump this thread if results are negative.

As stated in the ingame convo i had with this player, i provided email address for him to contact to get a refund for the advert placed with GRN.

Great customer service there. I gotta email you for a service you say you provide but dont.. here its easy.. give me my isk back. If this truly isnt a scam I will gladly retract, but until proving otherwise I am calling it what it is.

No, why should I email them? I was first told to go on irc.. didn't work for me. I was then told by EVE Radio to post on their forums, so I registered and posted on their forums with no result.
Im tired of contacting them. Its simple, either I am refunded and this isnt a scam, or it is and thus I wish to inform the EVE community.

Dude, if this were me, i'd have yelled scam since January.
PS: I don't think this was a scam, it would be stupid to think of it as such, but i can't see how he should do any more.

I would say he dosent really have a case at all if he isnt even willing to email them. I say don't give him his isk back just because we had to listen to his whining.

He posted on their forum since the 19th of December 2007, that's almost 4 full months.

Just for clairty, he asked for an update on 19th december. Response on 22nd December explained the delay and it was suggested that if he wanted to get a refund he could do so by email the address provided.
The fact that after 4 months he hadn't done it is not the fault of the advertising people, although the delay in producing the advert (for whatever reason) is.
Either way, there is a procedure here which needs to be followed. Follow it and it'll get sorted out.
Bottom line, we're not gonna give money out unless it's verified, which we need your cooperation to do. We don't wanna get scammed either you know.

This is an example of typical customer service today.
You Mr customer will be ignored and when we do eventualy hear then you need to jump through our hoops because we say so and by the way don't dare complain about it.
How about taking the unique approach of putting "Service" back into Customer Service.- Sorry we are wrong what can we do to make life easy for you and sort this out. .....

SO this guy sends you isk for an ad that never went into production, he then asks on the official forum for his money back, has convos ingame and asks for his money back, then gets told to send an email.
I think you guys need to sort this out. This isn't a scam, just poor business and should serve as proof of poor business practices ingame.

You need proof? Don't wanna get scammed? Have the advert manager check his wallet transactions ( I sent it to Cody28). He will see that he received the payment from this character (Szent Adamkiraly).

The procedures arent put in place to screw anybody. Its a bussiness after all... and for heavens sake procedure isnt exactly a burden. E-mail the guys, dont IMPLY you WOULD get the runaround. Customers feel they are always right, because thats what they are told. But that is incredibly incorrect. I get payed to say no to customers every day. ___________________________________________

If you choose to stop dealing with them then it's pretty obvious that you will get nowhere.
If "jumping through hoops" is to send the person that posted in this thread with an email telling him in short terms what is needed on your side to resolve the situation and your are unwilling to perform that simple task... Well I do not know what to say, I guess some people just want to create negative attention.
And btw you are creating negative attention for your "business" endeavor as well, and since some would think that you were paying them the original money sum to do the opposite...

well, From what i can see szent has done everything eve radio has told him to do until thay told him to e-mail... Now why should szent e-mail em???? he has done everything they have asked so far. cody has the transfer of isk log in his wallet so why is this got to this ????
EvE radio needs to repay szent or like he says cody has scammed him

I am unable to answer right now why your advert did not go ahead, but our advert team is going through a restructuring process and this may have contributed to the problems you have been experiencing.
Clearly there may have been an oversight on our part but we now need your help to resolve this. You were asked to go on IRC so we could sort out the problem and arrange a refund. The fact you were unable to get on IRC isn't our fault. We asked you to e-mail us as an alternative (not to make you jump through hoops). EVE-Radio has been producing adverts for the EVE Online community for almost 5 years. I am not aware, over those 5 years, of anyone claiming they were 'scammed' by us.
Mistakes do happen but we are trying to put this right. If you haven't already done so, then please get in contact by e-mail so we can verify the transaction and get this money back to you.
