Due to the interest in our plans for live DJs 24 hours over the weekend, and the recent bandwidth deal with our datacentre we are proud to make the following announcement:
Starting 1st May 2004, EVE-Radio will be turning in to a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week live DJ radio station. This will mean NO more auto! The EVE-Radio team will be working hard over the coming weeks to recruit, train, test and schedule new DJs to fill up the week! We've also contracted out a company to do our voice-overs and professional intros, which are scheduled for completion in May. This marks yet another huge milestone for EVE-Radio, and would not be possible without your continued donations and support!
A huge thank you goes out to everyone that donates, listens and takes part - we wouldn't be here without you!

One (bit off topic) concern - especially now I've mentioned Doby already
Political correctnes issue...
Something EVE-Radio definatly is not
Which is (partly) why I love it - a spade is called a spade and a s.hithead - is called an a.sshat if 'needed'.
Where am I going with this - Well...
It would seem EVE-radio is moving towards getting more 'commercial' - Which inevitably leads to the need of becomming 'political correct'.
Something which in my opinion would take of a lot of the 'edge' there is to EVE radio atm.
Is this in the future - or am I worrying prematurly?
(this is a question to Diago I guess..)

I think you can be assured that while Mr Blades works at EVE radio there will never ever ever be a problem with too much political correctness.
