Greetings, pilots of New Eden!
It is my profound joy to announce that on Thursday, 20Mar110, I shall wed my dearly beloved Ambriel "Cherri" Andros. Though the late night wedding ceremony is by invitation only, the reception immediately following will mark the official grand opening of Ambriel's bakery and we welcome all pilots to come celebrate with us.
Join us shortly after the clock strikes midnight and stay well into the wee hours of Friday morning.

Ahh well good to see you recovered from your accident Ambi, Kendar's a good guy even if he is a git with too much luck. I'm happy for ya both, I'll have to try and make it to the reception if possible. Free drinks yeah?

I hope you two will take this as it's meant, and not as some effort to put a downer on things, but are you really sure about this?
You've been together for less than a week of actual time, as far as I can tell, because of Ambi's absence - certainly not much more.
Following her accident, Ambi needs patience and care. But you, Kendar, have no idea in the space of two days, how it will affect things between you.
I'm not saying you two are a bad match, but would it really hurt to give it some time?
That said, I hope you both know that if you go ahead with this, then I wish you all the very best and hope you have a wonderfully happy life together.

My vacation is still pending for early April when my current license expires. Perhaps in the interim my grievances will be addressed to my satisfaction.

((I can only realistically address your haste concerns OOC by saying it is unrealistic in a game with a presumably very finite lifespan to develop every aspect of a character in real-time. Squeezing a lifetime for a fictional character into the lifespan of the game requires a great deal of time compression.))

As far as I know, I am the only one that has expressed any sort of desire to have a business interest in the soon to be Mrs. Zek's bakery. Which, I might add, I am still interested in investing in.
But in any case, I think this is what you refer to as an innocent falling-in-love. Were they not capsuleers, and were it my place to say such a thing, I would advise them that it was too soon, that they should wait.
But it is not my place, and, moreover, we are capsuleers, and perhaps that does change things. While we in reality may have longer than we would otherwise, we do seem somewhat to have a greater sense of urgency in many things, to live life faster than others. I do not know why, nor can I even say for sure that it is so, but it does often seem that way.
Congradulations, may your time together be long and happy.

I would like to thank the pilots who arrived at the bakery to celebrate with us. I would also like to apologize that there was no cause for celebration. You have my deepest regret that I was unable to deliver the party that was promised.
For all of the cynics and naysayers, I can only commend your foresight, as my dearly beloved did not attend the wedding at the time that she had appointed for us. Wherever she may be, I surely hope that she is safe and happy.
On the bright side, this could mean that I have a great deal more time available to spend with my racing team.

As it turns out, this public invitation to the capsuleer community, and the negativity in response, gave the lady a case of cold feet. At this time, the wedding is postponed indefinitely until she selects another date.
I was concerned that something might have happened to her, and I am thankful that she is alright. This small bump in the road will soon be forgotten.
