my sources have found it prudent to inform me of a huge siege op that took place in branch last night.
It is said that Insurgency alliance brought 80+ capital ships and 150 or more t2 turret sniper BS, aswell as a decent load of support.
I checked with my n00b alt earlier today and its true :-
D4R and EQI (both sov 3 phoenix station systems) have all their poses in rienforced, a ton of insurgency alliance towers are online and claiming sov in EQI with just 1 large tower left from phoenix. Sov 4 is expected to be removed from 4DT in the coming weeks.

also could a member of insurgency alliance post an untainted battle report please? |

Just looks at the killboards... there is no battle report. Big fleet flies 4 jumps shoots some pos and goes to bed The end. |

Don't play the 'I am small" Card. Add to those numbers Stellar Polar, ME and all those other alliances and corperations you have been flying together the last couple of months fighting us and you will have double numbers against use easily.
Just hoping for good fights the upcomming days/weeks.

Adn what about Stella Polar, Majesta Empire, Guardian Federation? I know Rare Faction are out the picture now, but you guys have been outblobbing INSRG for months and you know this.

I remember soloing around Branch in my Mega before, and meeting a steady stream of Stella Polar pods coming from the way I was going. A few jumps later I had a fun encounter with Insurgency. Now Stellar are pulling out... Alliance down? :D
Best of look to all involved, looks like Insurgency are gonna shape up to be one to watch in future.

no need to get smacky, yes a while back we had the numbers to outblob you, now that you eliminated a few of those and recruited some cap heavy corps its your turn. all those small alliances combined never fielded something even near of 80 caps. but thats how the game goes and we will see what will happen next.
when i look at alliance chat i still see ppl having fun, and thats all that matters tbh.

As Darth said on 'the other forum', we very much like and respect Pheonix Allianz. You don't smack, you have nice leadership, and you very much led the NNC and helped them develop better fleet tactics against us. It's a shame the NNC have fallen apart a bit, and we're not getting the same epic fights we used to have.
But you have to put yourself in Insurgency's shoes. You guys, on three occasions, came into our home constellation of 304 with a 250 man blob and sieged us. We can only put up with that so many times before we decide to go on the counter-offensive.
We havent really recruited many new corps, if you look at the alliance rankings website you'll see our numbers have been stable at 1400-1500 for a while now. But our participation is getting better all the time which is a positive thing from our perspective of course.
I don't think it was ever our original plan to seige your space, we were looking to build outposts in 304, but your assaults against that constellation led to it being inevitable that we would attack you, and you would have done the same in our shoes.
PHAL is a good alliance, the leadership in INSRG rate you highly and certainly higher than other NNC alliances. I personally wish you luck and hope whatever the outcome of our conflict, you'll be stronger for it.

This is impossible, Insurgency is a Non-Blobbing Alliance, read all other threads about these Guys, they only fight outnumbered and in counts around 50 vs 50.
You see that story canŠt be true cause Insurgency is not one of the normal alliances, they got the hearts of the old times and fight like men did fight before trinity and revelation *cough*.

like butter said, i like PA, very decent guys. i hope this makes them a stronger alliance as i do enjoy a good fight, its what i play for and why INSRG was started.

After the defeat of Stella some weeks ago we stood on our own, but seriously guys 80 caps is a helloffalot, we couldnt and cant counter this.

Lots of caps = pos go pop fast
pos shooting = boring
fast pos shooting = a bit less boring
That's pretty much the reason for the cap blob. Doesn't make for much fun on your end and not much on ours tbh, but it's a hell of a lot faster then using 10 or 20 to do the same job.
I hope we will still have some more good fun battles as we've had in the past.

I read this now the second time and im wondering why it is was or what ever "your" constealtion? As far as i know the CPU (Combined Planetary Union) Alliance lived where and were the ones who Attacked this Const. back in the days as M.Pire was living in Branch.
I would rly like to know why i hear the second time that the 304 Const. belongs to INSRG? This would rly help me to understand some things wich happens in the past |

Because we took it. Simple as that. It was CPU's when we attacked it but they lost it to us which made it ours. You only own something if you have the guns/manpower to defend it.

Fight goes on for several months now and it looks like insurgency finally will come out on top.
There's nothing wrong with blobbing the **** out of your enemy, no one in the whole eve universe would be so idiotic and tell his people to go home because the enemy isn't able anymore to field an fleet that's comparable to the own.
Fighting insurgency was fun most of the times, smack was mostly non existant apart from a few coad *****s that every alliance has to deal with. But fighting an alliance for months and doing pos warfare over and over again is also pretty straining tbh. If insurgency manage to take and hold the branch systems, I must say, they pretty much earned it through superior tactics and hard work over months.
But tbh, I'm pretty sure the real hardcore will be happening when the small alliances have left branch.

We had a lot of fun in Branch, and we fought our asses off for everything we had. We had alot of great fights against Insurgency.In the end, they won. I finally made the decision to leave when Peoke started making threats because we wouldn't help Rare Faction defend K-8.
I'd gladly go back to Branch, but I won't be fighting alongside of the NNC.

CELES has been doing this for years and winning against the hardest and hardiest alliances of the time. Feel free to ask BoB about that.
We decided to give the full alliance thing a go...and holy ****, its working.
Next thing you know, people i know in game for 4 years who swear blind they will NEVER EVER manage a pos in their life, are running 5 deathstars like they werent even there.
Now my friend, you feel free to watch the video we posted taking 304, or the assaults we withstood in 304, and youll see how we roll outnumbered and outgunned 2 to 1.
Exactly the same as CELES did with 10 bs back in 2005 baby.

I think people are using the term blob too casually.
INSRG is a medium sized alliance, around 1500 members including alts. And still we manage to field a 300 man INSRG fleet, with almost a tripple digit capital fleet, thats is exceptional.
Blobbing is when you invite everyone you can lay your hands on and simply bruteforce attack.

So Insurgency wins eve yet again?!.  Salutaions to Phoenix Alliance for making a stand for such a long time, with allies bailing here and there. You held the majority of Pilots in Coalition Ops.

As one of the smaller corps in INSRG I would like to say; thx for the awesome fights until now.
We have been in INSRG from the start of september 2007 and we have learned so much, honestly our respect to all our friends, neutrals and reds/oranges :-)
We are still growing, maturing not only as a corp but also as an alliance, which is a great thing to be a part of.

I considered you guys as dead once, but since months I'm fkin impressed by what you have become and the spirit you show. With all your acts since you left south because you didn't want to join the cowardlition, I really changed my views.

Dont understand my last post wrong, i think Varrakk(perhaps i have to edit the name later - ok iŠm right) pretty good sums it up.
I have much respect for Insurgency and the way how they do their job but in all other NNC-Insurgency-Rzr-Tri-MM threads i read too much about Blob-Warfare but i think each of these alliances in the north just do what they have to.
I think noone enjoys blobing but as an example regarding to tho OP when you are going to stop the Insurgency Capfleet sieging D4R and EQI there is no chance to do this with a 50 men roaming gang.
My opinion is that itŠs good for the north that most of the blue standings are reseted and everyone can enjoy the pewpew.
Perhaps a better north then before is the outcome of all this "burning north"
Keep it smackfree like it seems to be atm, everyone enjoy the fights and make it interesting for the spectators like me.

Only been in the alliance for a couple of weeks now but I gotta say it's been more of a blast than all of my EVE time up till now put together. Props to (let me get this right) PHAL for being consistently good enemies. No smack, good fights, how EVE should be all the time. Bit of a shame that a certain alliance that came last night in support chose not to engage us and instead camp us into a system we wanted to be in anyway but you can't have everything I guess.

we fought against CPU / GSA primarily this is true but there were also, on more than one occasion, PHAL pilots in the gangs that we fought against.
And to answer your question of really wanting to know why 304 belongs to INSRG? you taken a trip in sapce recently? CCP have implemented a means of naming systems and constellations and such... it is on the upper left part of your screen when you are in space... right below that there is a little label that says sovereignty... you will notice in the 304 Constellation it says "Insurgency"

Missed most of the recent conflicts thanks to a power supply that decided it was time to fry my motherboard and cpu. But in all Phoenix has been a blast they have almost non existent smack fought with honor and tbvh will be sorely missed.

Wimmste Rocks!! Hes a Great FC. I can tell you this He wont go down easy thats for sure. As I was part of CPU and I joined a fleet which was FC'd by Wimmste just watching/listening to his order this guy knew what he was doing and he succeeded in doing it. GL to Phoenix Allianz and Insurgency in the big pew pew to come. Maybe Insurgency can bring up a big size cap fleet. But anything is possible and things can turn around. When the war first started up north in 304 const. We knew after the fall of CPU that slowly and shortly this will start to happen. And it has begun the rage and flames of insurgency continues..."Next to come Once Insurgency controls the upper part of Branch soon where MM/Rzr will come in to pew pew just watch...
And Insurgency you guys put a hell of a fight much respect. Sad part was in being in CPU is was the same guys fighting each day and out non stop in every battle. This is the truth because I was one of those guys who fought till the last day of the fall of AH- Good time and one to remember Best of luck in your pew pew world :)

Dark Klotz was offered plus standings and CPU a place to call home to rebuild a while back.. we had respect for them after 304 and wanted to see them good, he refused as he didnt want to fight old friends. he had every chance to save his place in branch/the north but decided against it.

Just for the purposes of historical accuracy: CPU were given temporary blue to INSRG after the original 304 campaign ended. Their abstaining from the K-8 anti-insrg blobbing with Smashkill reflected our agreement with them at the time.
Update on PHAL campaign: 4 out of 6 systems in their Sov 4 constellation should lose sov after DT, unless I'm missing something or they've ninja'd more towers up :)

Its been a long standing fight since mid October 2007 and now Insurgency has succeeded in taking down the NNC and its controlled space. Props to all parties involved. all in all, a better disciplined military force with a substantial Capitol backbone won out and now will control Upper Branch.
Been here fighting since the start of the 304 Constellation brawl and wish to fight ever more. Insurgency are a good enemy and will bring fun and good training to anyone who takes them on in the near future. I congratulate you on your victory and now will see you in small roaming gangs instead of Fleet warfare.
Props to Phoenix Allianz who stood strong the longest and devoted everything to the fight until the very end. Wimmste you are a masterful FC. Goodluck with where ever Phal will go.
BTW: We need a battle report and official deceleration from Wimmste or Darth Solo - I prefer them over threads like this.

Insurgency, can't wait for you to fight a really competent alliance with similar numbers. Do well in that and you will be recognised as a super power.

Personal opinion here. Insurgency are not yet a super power.
They're much like Triumvirate was when they invaded Deklein, untested but powerful.
Both of them fought largely outnumbered against relatively unskilled oponents. Insurgency's test will come, but fighting outnumbered against unskilled oponents is not particularly hard.

Seems Razor havent helped out their neighbours! This yet another CPU saga?. Seems Razor cant really be trusted to help anyone expect Morsus Mihi - talking of which where are they in all this, didnt they dec Insurgency?

we were both blue with razor but they decided to attack us, so we had to take offensive to make them stop attacking.
