Originally by: Blankel and btw, something I've been thinking about is that later on this year, there will be a giant expansion(waking in stations ect) You think this is bad? imagine how worse THAT is going to be.
Looks to me like an excellent time to take a 1 month break from eve and spend the 14.99Ç (witch is actually 23.64USD ye lucky American players) on something else :D

Originally by: Blankel NO they dont.... They are convinced that they can "pull off" all this crap with extended downtimes unexpectedly and players WONT quit Eve. and the sad part is that its true.
While I don't think there's any deliberate choice to 'pull off' these down times, they're just stuck with crap happening, I do think they make the situation worse by not learning from the mistakes of previous bad patches. 'We do' they say, then do the same damn crap.
At this point I'd be perfectly happy for them to load up a second server, move me onto it and only apply patches/hotfixes once a month/quarter... maybe take the server down for a few days, instead of this up-down crap.
But as you say, not like I'm about to stop playing (I need my addiction!), so all the ranting is for naught.

Originally by: Rowntrees If you're going to whine about a couple of hours extra downtime, maybe you should just cancel your subscriptions.
Keeps you off the boards, and maybe.. just maybe - you'll have a life outside EVE.
Just a thought.
lol what are you doing here, paying for an eve subscription to check out the whine boards on your day off? no, you're offline like the rest of us....
CCP do actually charge BY THE DAY I think it's fair that it worked in the reverse.

Downtime extended for 15 minutes while we fix a server side issue It is estimated that Tranquility will be opened up at 12:15 GMT
Downtime is extended to 1215 GMT today.... Amother failure at patching i think.
Btw, did u notice that the ccp developers only answer to to posts that praises them???
