Nanos are the new WCS.
Actually, with the introduction of HICtors they may be even better at escaping all kinds of trouble than the old WCS.

Both nano ships and blobs need good stiff nerfings, since the only way to counter them is to get a bigger/faster blob/nanogang.
That's terrible gameplay.

Any situation where "I win, you die, you win, I live to fight another day" is the range of outcomes is inherently badly imbalanced.
And that's generally what you have with nano ships facing non nano ships. (Unless the nano pilots suck and think they can buy immunity simply by shelling out for snakes)

The problem is that nano ships are more the 'new WCS' than the old WCS ever were.
A nano ship has a superb tank, can flee from encounters it doesn't wish to be in, and force encounters against people who wish to avoid it.
A ship with a full rack of WCS in the lows had a crappy tank, could flee from encounters it didn't wish to be in, and was terrible at forcing encounters against people wishing to avoid it.
Not too mention, the presence of hictors means that even if WCS had never been nerfed, they wouldn't be the ultimate get out of jail free card they were before.
I fail to see why something even BETTER than WCS is balanced.

The people complaining about cloak ratting are silly. There's an easy fix: get 0.0 populated enough so that no system is ever permanently empty.
Problem solved. The cloaker can either spend 100% of his time cloaked in a safe spot, or deal with the other inhabitants of his system.
