In a recent mission I came across several Sansha Cruisers & Battlecruisers, a few of which were constantly disrupting my tracking and I had to switch to my Drake to complete the mission. Since I prefer Turrets over Launchers, are there any counters to a bunch of NPC's disrupting my tracking? Any kind of ECM that could jam their lock so I can fire back? ------------------------

they have been tracking disrupting you for a long time, why would you be having problems now? . |

Probably because tracking disruptors got a huge boost last patch. _______________________________________________ Minmatar will always go faster than you, get over it. |

Fall-off is now also affected, as well as I haven't done all that many missions, I'm just up for getting my standings up :) Also thinking about training for a Vagabond, a Cruiser at 720m/s...hmmm ------------------------

got disrupted by three rats the other day (had medium autocannons + emp) lost like 2 - 3 km range on optimal + falloff. Didnt notice much if any difference on their die rate. If you are relying on orbiting at max opt+fall range you are of course in a bit of a predicament. Tracking comps and tracking enhancers are your counters btw. . |

Are you sure any changes in TDs change anything in effects from rats?
For example, the ECM of Guristas doesnt work like the one on player ships - it has fixed probability, independent of target sensor strength - this was confirmed by Dev's when marauders came out.
NPC defenders are also probabilistic - rats fire a fixed amount of defenders per every missile launched at them. This was also confirmed when Golem came out and everybody whined that it's worse than CNR.
This makes me believe that Sansha's afe not reducing falloff, despite of change in TDs. Can be checked tho - go into mission, get TD'ed and check the attributes of your gun.

Do short-range guns (Blasters, Autocannons) have enough tracking on them to be more resistant to disruption? They would still have some tracking left and if I got the Transversal down, could I hit anything? ------------------------

Should be possible. Autocannons will be the best if Sanshas dont reduce falloff - ACs have best base tracking and their falloff will do magic, and EMP is your friend. But blasters will do also due to DPS advantage.

Even 425s (the railguns) can hit at next to point blank if you just pilot manual rather than automated orbit, switch the camera back and forth a few times untill your ship is flying relatively parallel to the target and you'll see transversal drop by a huge amount.

If they're orbiting you, then fly a few km towards them. they'll start flying away from you at which point they become really, really easy targets.
If they're approaching you, switch to longer range ammo and shoot them.
NPC TDs are really, really weak tbh. __________________________________

Won't they just orbit me as I try to move to them? Last I checked when a Frigate or Drone is orbiting me, they are faster then my ship (Would love to see how a Stabber or Vaga would do). ------------------------

If you are in a BS or BC these should be taken out by your drones anyway, not your turrets. Large turrets and medium long-range turrets cant take out orbiting NPC frigs or drones of any NPC type, sansha's TDs have nothing to do with it really.

Currently I have a Rokh and a Moa at my disposal, would a Blaster Moa be able to hit Frigs & Drones? (Got Painter & Webber) ------------------------
