April Fools came a bit early this year huh? As if this was planned in advance. You guys corp hopped to Virakorp to avoid the war, joining red and blue to make it more difficult for us to isolate you, and that was enough to satisfy the conditions of the contract.
But if this is true then you have admitted that you corp hopped to avoid a war, which is an exploit. I thought you guys were better than to resort to exploits, but I guess it's the only thing you had left to do. Something to add to your glorious history no doubt...

Mountain meet molehill.
I've seldom seen so much self-puffery and hyperbole by a set of mercs. At the end of your "career" you take on a corp. of mostly month-old characters who play with a 5-6 hour gap between their prime time and yours. Despite their discovery that you won't come out and play in their prime time you trash them for not playing in yours. Hello? You're the mercs -- it's your job to go get them, not theirs to go get you.
Now, as they determine they can get a far more active and beneficial pvp experience by joining the Red vs Blue concept you have the temerity to accuse them of cheating. What utter gall!
All they're doing is making an effort to educate themselves in vagaries of pvp the best way possible--by doing it with people who'll be around when they're awake: something some "professionals" failed to attempt. |

Had a lot of fun doing merc work with Mcrew, can't wait to see what we do next.
Originally by: Khul Drukath Today they announced the closing of their Eve branch, with some members switching out to Virakorp.
What a rouse, we didn't notice that you guys switched corps. You pulled that one over on us!

Calculon, your Freudian slip is showing....
I don't really remember anyone trashing VK for anything other than your asinine attempts at smack. If you don't even want to use an opportunity like we presented you to train your "month old carebears" to fight...

Seems VK have added a new "ski" to the many we have in eve. The RVBski.

Was alot of fun flying with most of these guys. We had alot of memories, mostly drunken ones. Khul and leadership is great at what they do, and will always have my respect for it. All those we fought and have flewn with only made eve that much better. We found some great pvpers and some not so good pvpers, but they always wanted a fight.
Granted i did make alot of isk just camping stations :) Mcrew-pub

Hey! Shame we never got to fly alongside each other in a professional capacity. Was a great war we had, you murdering EARTH and us trying to hold back the tide. A strange contract in that both the mercs and the counter-mercs have achieved their objectives!
For the neutrals reading LSD were hired to wardec EARTH Federation to force a corp to leave (this was unknown to us at the time). We were hired to protect EARTH Fed ships, of which around 30 a day were being popped iirc. Although we lessened the tide (to about 5 a day iirc) the pressure was too much for the corp in question, and they left. We were not hired to protect corps that left, so when LSD switched their focus to that corp we were no longer needed.
It was ironic because the corp left EARTH Fed to run away from the fight (something I have to point out was very unpopular amongst some of their pilots who wished to remain with the alliance to help protect their friends), and ended up getting the full focus!

Edited by: White Aero on 25/03/2008 05:12:39 Congrats on a very succesful Merc career. Not much more that I can add to what Nick said. The AD/TCC contract was by far my most enjoyable merc contract. You guys were very impressive for being so new. I am sad to see you guys fade away but RL does tend to get in the damn way. Myself and AIL wish you all the best of luck in the future.

Very good guyes at what they do. Good luck in the future!
I remember BigFish. He left the TCC corp and tried to "hide" in an alt corp not in the TCC alliance or whatever it was. I was part of the suicide gank squad that took out his hulk back then. At least I think it was his. =) _______________________________________________________________ "Nice work dumbass." "I've given some thought to moving off the edge. Khul,
Your guys know as well as ours that the war between us saw less action than the fat kid on prom night. To claim that we were trying to "avoid" the war with you guys (where we had almost no fights) to jump into the RvB wars (where we are fighting all the time) doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
Regardless, I'm not trying to turn your retirement thread into some back and forth flame-fest. Good luck in your new career, and feel free to fight with or against us any time you want some action. You know where we'll be. ;)

Khul, best of luck in your future endeavors. I can't say that it was fun to fight you guys, as the engagements were non-existant for the most part on both sides. However, MCREW prior to the last couple of campaigns was a well-respected entity across most of EVE.
Safe flying. o/

I remember ya's because it was my first MCrew war. I joined, asked where I needed to go and what ship was needed. Bought a Typhoon in Jita and lost it against ya's within an hour , think it was a new record for time taken to lose a ship after joining a corp. Nearly got that Domi, I still blame my rubbish connection/pc of course . -
