Edited by: Mindrust on 23/03/2008 13:54:28 Edited by: Mindrust on 23/03/2008 13:52:36 Good afternoon. This will be a little long-winded, but I know what I want and where I want to go. So in the effort of saving both myself time, and you time, I'm going to attempt to convey this as well as I can.
I am currently in an industrial-oriented Corp in high-sec. But as time has passed I have discovered that I 1. Don't know enough about the game to make it in manufacturing at this point. And 2. Really have no desire to pew-pew space rocks as anything other than a part-time hobby.
What I am looking for in a Corp. By all means, I'm flexible. These are just things I'm looking for.
1. Experienced players that don't have a problem sharing their wisdom. 2. Leadership preferably over the age of 21. 3. Fair, balanced policies that are mete out evenly across the board. 4. Potential for expansion in 0.0 in the future or an established alliance-membership. 5. I don't like ****-talkers. A man is judged by the company he keeps. 6. An open, adult atmosphere. Chances are pretty good that after I make friends in your Corp, while screwing around I may something off-color like "Go **** yourself with a sajuaro cactus" in jest in Corp-chat and I don't want to have to worry about offending people. If I want to be politically correct I'll go to work. 7. Scheduled corp operations are a big plus. I typically like to schedule my time around when I want to do things so even a "hey we're running missions Sat at 6" will make me a happy camper. 8. Structure and organization. The more, the better. I'm one of those annoying people that actually does the speed limit, not five mph over. 9. I'm not into scamming, exploiting, or anything against the ToU.
Things to know about me. 1. I have about 4m sp. They are sort of split between pve, some industry, exploration, and mining. I'm now starting to skill towards PVP efficiency. I am welcoming to any criticism or opinions provided its understood that I may not agree. Sometimes, I just have to learn the hard way. 2. I fly Gallente, and will probably always fly Gallente. My long-term goal is to field a carrier and drone fleet. Currently, I fly cruisers. I can learn battleships right now but I chose not to because my income is not high enough for it, nor are my skills adequate enough to fit it properly. My current weapon of choice is a blaster thorax. 3. I'm an information *****. I want to know it all. I want to learn to FC, squad command, small gang warfare, fleet warfare, POS warfare, how to fit properly, how to fight properly. I want to know this game and its mechanics inside out. 4. I am a loyal Corp-member. I tend to stick through thick and thin. I really like the guys I'm in corp with right now, but I just don't want to play that version of the game anymore. It was a nice intro and I hope to remain friends with most of them, but I want more out of the game. 5. Exploration and guerilla warfare are two of my main interests. I'm currently working towards Covert Ops ships and the skills to make them not suck. I feel I would fit best in a recon and espionage role once my skill set will support it. I enjoy ratting and missioning as well, but I don't have the skills or the resources to really be anything other than a loot-hauling/salvaging ***** for a squad. 6. I don't mind getting shot down. And I don't ***** about anything in regards to it. 7. I'm sort of iffy on the pirate aspect. I'm more interested in a military on military approach than a trying to find unsuspecting miners/haulers/pilots approach. I like it for what it gives, which is more danger to the universe. But I don't feel a pirate oriented corp would suit me. 8. I am in a NA time-zone.
I will be checking my mail and this thread for replies. I am posting on an alt for the time being. My Corp-leadership is aware of my intentions but the rest is not. I do not intend to jump into the first boat, I feel choosing a Corp is a very intricate process. I will be checking my mail once a day. |

Oh, also.. casual time would is preferred. Sometimes I play 30 hours a week, sometimes I just log on to change skills once a few days. So casual friendly would suit both of our needs well. Though that might really just be from the overall boredom I'm feeling with the game at the moment. |
