few words about situation in 9iz- solar system
9iz station now takken by SDG[x.i.x]:D :D :D
chaos have lost their claim ;)
lost lots of bs\support and few capital ships in last fight in 9iz
pretty well job guys ;)
smash\atlas\chaos\roadkill real power is smacktalk inlocal
urespect 4u all guyz.
and hope u'll post ur loossy killmails on ur freaky kb ;)

Word on the street is that this was won by spies who knew POS passwords for the Titan-inside-enemy-pos trick, and CCP resetting several (then) RA towers during downtimes.
Nice fighting, guys, way to keep it clean.

I've always thought the DD inside POS shields trick is a bit lame as far as game mechanics go. I don't blame people for using it to their advantage though as long as the possibility exists.

Chaos Incarnate also lost a carrier last week in Molden Heath. Seems to be making a habit of it.

I think we got dd'ed inside pos shields maybe 10 times over the weekend probably more.
obviously there are ways around it, but people just get lenient if nothing happens for 10 minutes, and then a titan comes in and before the realise it, poof, ship gone. I guess this is just a disadvantage of having a group of alliances working together.
also *edit* xxdeathxx? usually follow up DD our poses by warping all their bs or even sometimes their cap fleet right into the middle of the pos for bumpage.
as far as the reseting of the pos'es due to node crashes go, we have actually decided not to siege some poses at times when we did have the means to do so, just because we don't wanna push our luck with the node crashing and sending us right back to square 1. yeah it sounds a bit stupid, but when you have seen reinforced hostile poses have their shields recharged by node crashes multiple times you will try anything to at least guarantee a shot at killing on tower, (which we actually did kill).
apparently last time it happened everyone in the fleet petitioned ccp to get the node buffed, half the people got generic "we are looking into it" replies, and the other half got their petitioning privileges removed.
Either way should be interesting to see how the whole thing pans out. Bit of a ****ty way to play the game, but whatever. Anyway I don't think the engagement will be over for a while, this is already well into its second month now i think.

To answer who the character alt that is that made this post.
It is the alt spy that was placed in Chaos that provided SDG and Co. with pos passwords over and over again. then titan bombing everything inside pos shields.
Congrats on taking 9IZ. This is the state of the game. It is within the CCP area of acceptability so my final comment is simple. If you were not able to counter espionage then you deserve to lose the system. Congrats on taking 9IZ...

quoting, coz this is the truth. they used alot of 'suspect' game mechanics and with united legion joining them they had weight of numbers aswell. still... it took them nearly 2 months to achieve what they set out to do :)
on the plus side tho, of the major fleet battles in 9iz over the last 2 months we won all of them :)
to legion of death/solar dragon - gf, twas fun and this is far from over

because they took it means were gunna pack up and leave.everyone forgets that the red blanket is off. this is the start of the fight for 9iz and uax and cos lives in drones. if people think were gunna say gf and let them control it people have never faught us or dont understand how we work. That new non red alliance outpost is not red alliance in the middle of drone space with no coalition backing. im sure it will stay that way ...............

the only lesson i take from DDD inside shields is every friendly alliance has its own POS in sys, and the only one that knows the PW is the guy that sets it. that, or CCP needs to change pos shield permission settings to filter by standings (seems only logical, as there's no real way to keep out spies)
at the end of the day, though, metagaming, espionage and titans win POS warfare, not fleet battles.
anyways, gf in the fleet battles. hope to be on both sides of xlx killmails for a long while after this (still haven't been on a titan km yet, though)

Sure, so you have a system with 7 moons in it, and one alliance wants to maintain Sov.
In this instance, if Atlas, RK and Smash each had their own POS, RA/notRA/Whatever would only have needed to take 3 moons to take the system.
