Green highlighted items are the items that dropped ofc. And i dunno why that salvager says midslot either but thats not the point.

My vote for an upf'ked killboard/killmail. Notice that the tech II marker is out of place on the Cap Rechargers II's?

Aside from the fact that it's impossible for you to have put enough DPS on that ship to kill it before Concordokken?

Unless it's a war target.
I must be missing something, as you said the salvager in the midslot wasn't the issue(FYI it shows up on other kills on your board as well, must be a bug)
What is it you are trying to point out?

OK, I looked again. Almost all the faction gear got cooked? Well sooky-booey-hooey if that's what the 'problem' is.

I'd only feel idiotic if I was the victim who accumulated that much expensive stuff and fell for a lofty scheme. The fact that a pirate didn't get a big payoff from a kill is absolutely laugh-worthy. Does he deserve sympathy? F*ck no.
And by the way, I actually did fall for the very same scheme by the very same op in my early days. I grew up, moved on and didn't whine about it. So you bet your ass I have a right to find this funny.

Sucks to be you?
This just goes to show that the chance of a mod surviving is inversely proportional to its worth on the market.

You know the rules...
If the item is expensive or useful to the attacker, then the module is destroyed
If the item is cheap, it survives
If the defender really doesnt want them to get the loot, it drops everything.
In some cases it drops everything and everything is destroyed.

i'll tell you more, when you're gonna fly out a ship fitted like that and get ganked by somebody all the cool stuff is going to survive, that's just how this random item selection process works

Rumor has it that mods damaged from overheating never drop but are "always" destroyed upon ship destruction. Another practical application of heat. Deprive the little terrorists of phat lewt.
Just a rumor though...someone else go play on the test server and confirm it. =P

That's no different than the theories that if you stop you guns just as the enemy is dying you'll get more loot. It's a flat percentage, albeit one that seems to be governed by the usefulness of the items potentially dropped, aka, why NPCs always drop Miner Is.

I see nothing wrong with this picture.
If you are so hot for faction loot, go farm some complex or buy them. Whining about not getting faction drops when you manage to gank a carebear in high sec will net you about as much sympathy as the carebear whining about being ganked in high sec.
If you ask me, it is far to easy to get loot from destroyed ships. From a wreckage point of view, it makes little sense. The whole looting of modules should be baked into the salvage process. Make it take some time. Extracting modules from a large wreck of twisted metal and blown bulkheads shouldnt be a 3 second process.
Besides that, nice kill. I hope it was a good kill though, and not some ****ty deal where you manipulated the game mechanics to force an aggression flag timer.
