These slots are bugging me. I was a naive player for a while and thought 2 NOS's gave me double cap from the same enemy, but it doesnt, so i'm looking to change 1 out or even both, if theres a suitable replacement.
I run Heavy Dim's at the moment.
Suggestions for these slots anyone?

The tractor saves you from having to slowboat to mission objective cans so its a bit of a timesaver too.

I have found that auto targeter is nice if you have enough skills to utilize those extra targeting slots it offers. On regular Raven I would also add there tractor beam to drag in cans with mission specific loot in some missions where it is needed.

2x named 1200 to help DPs on BSes especially the big ones as the 2.5m one and the 1m+. Doesnt take any Cap either so better then pther guns, and youll have the powergrid and CPU if you use a CN XL SB, 2 PDUs and Arbalests + AWU 3.

On my cruise raven, i use 2 1200mm arty (to provide more damage to those targets at range who use defenders)
On my torp raven i don't have enough space left to fit anything, but the character that uses the torp raven doesn't have max fitting skills yet so that could change.

a) Medium artillery. Low fitting cost, varied damage type, no cap, tracks ok due to downsizing sig res, enough range vs most rats. Not much DPS but hardly needs any adjustment in setup, training or playstyle and is better than empty slot. b) Smartbombs. c) NOSes imo lessen the chance NPC will rep (not by emptying cap just by applying modifier to the chance) but they either cost too much PG or have too little range. And you need to tap BS to get any cap out of rat.

b) Smartbombs.
This.
Salvaging and looting is best done afterwards. A tractor beam can be useful but with some planning, there's no real use.
As for neuts and noses, I'd say the use is very very small compared to the cost.
Smartbombs all the way.

i have seen this before and I really dont get it. Setting aside the fact that smartbombs eat the cap you need to run the shield booster, they also kill your missles, so why on earth and how would you use them? Arguably my opinions represent to an extent the opinions of my alliance and in particular circumstances give rise to a valid "casus belli" claim. |
