I'll never forget the message that popped up for Beta 6, I think it was. "Everything is in the game, and we're ready to go." Or something like that. yeah, and if you guys that were in beta remember, the beta forums were quite colorful as i recall when they announced that eve was going gold. 
Exactly, every was going "WHAT, they're going gold with THIS...ok, I'm outta here". Thus I lost track of the game and didn't even look at it for several years.

Anybody have any screen shots of those early days? I've only been playing a couple of years and its pretty much looked the same all the way for me (I run classic)
I wonder if like armageddon day ccp would roll back the test server for one day?

Anybody remember what the other pre-release clients were called? I only remember gemini which IMO had the best startup screen ever! I loved that logo whooshing over with the subwoofers turned up
