All a god has to be, to be a god to us, is sufficiently more advanced than we are. There are physics rules which we haven't learned yet.

There were people saying they genuinely believed the Earth is only 6000 years old. The creationists stated aim was also on the show and during the interview their spokesperson said they wanted science to become friendly and compatible with Christianity. Basically, false science.
Those statistics sound wrong to me Gaunty, at the very least they're conflated. US belief in creationism is up around 50% iirc, whilst in the UK it's closer to 10%, 10% too high to be honest, and with the encroachment of rich creationists into Religious and Academy Schools its a moving in a worrying direction, but the US has a far bigger problem than Europe at the moment.
hehe Ideocracy, its going to boil down to a Theocracy in the end,
its incredible but its like there is a whole culture hell bent on taking this world back to the dark gloomy crap its came from.
i am not going to go as far as i hate religion, but it has no right, to class its self as a science (ID), or to actually infringe upon others there beliefs through mass media OR academic means.
Its incredible.. i am astounded. Quantum mechanics cannot even work or have been discovered if there was a god, Quantum mechanics tells us that a physical observer, makes a atom choose between physical states and its available options, but without an observer all choices or none can be given.
a god of any kind would break they very fundamental law of quantum mechanics and we would not have Quantum computers wiki QUT COMP and linky for Quantum mechanics

Anyway the UK has got rid of the religious and the convicts, now all we need to do is convince the Telephone Sanitizers, Insurance Salesmen, and Public Relations Executives to leave and we'll be living in paradise...
Don't do that YET!!! I'm running missions for a Public Relations guy right now...
