I uninstalled Eve, deleted all ccp eve files and folders, ensured that no Eve related files were on my system. I then rebooted. I then download the Eve client (Eve Premium setup 51200). No change from orignal problem. Eve starts in the normal way, sound everything appears normal, after the 'Trinty' splash all that comes up is the latest news in its usual size box to inform you of elections and the buddy system. No login screen appears, no where to enter your log in details. Even leaving the screen for 1 hour 30 mins... nothing. rebooted same thing.
Results from my petitons not helping. Please help

can you try to add '' /end /LUA:OFF ''to eve shortcut on your desktop?Right click to eve icon --->proprties--->target youll see ee folder there it is where youll add .
Same carpp happened to me install/uninstall/reinstall did not fix .Adding lua:off fixed. this happened to me after a power loss ,i got some corruptud files bla bla warning

OR, you could just press esc on the login screen and click the "clear all cache files" button that is on the reset settings tab in the center...

be careful because if you have a huge cache and use the clear cache option , next time you log on it will look like it has hung,whilst it is busy clearing cache

A great thanks to all of you for helping me out Your suggestions were an instant fix!! Needless to say the advice from my petitions in hindsight were all C**P. I did ask them was there any chance for extra credits for my down time!!!
Again thankyou all very much.
