Damn straight. Bovine power. And contrary to what people are seeing, these stuff wasnt easy and requires intense coordination and teamwork. Frigates arent overpowered, just with the right people and tactics they can be extremely effective.

If they also used FOFs im sure those pilots could go down in EVE history as the worst PvPers EVER! Surviving in frigates vs missiles/guns/FOFs/and drones and still delivering damage is nearly impossible. Unless you let that one battleship do all the actual damage. So let's have some names? And did they have everything at their disposal? FOFs etc. And no frigates are far from overpowered, in fact I think they might just need a bit more love, but from what I've read here then it seems it's on it's way. However presently frigates can be very dangerous with good tactics/teamwork and/or in great numbers. 34 kestrels firing 4 cataclysm at apoc(no matter skills) with no hardners one and you go from 100% shields to a pod within few seconds. Fancy aye? I belive people haven't realized the full potential of frigates in PvP yet, not just as scramblers. Take all the mining corps with loads a carebears whos always whining whenever they get a war declearation, most of em say they won't fight because those that decleared on them have better skills and more pvp experience... probably true, however those 100 carebears in 1 kestrel each and with a few rounds of cruise missiles(any new should be able to get skills for this within 1-2 weeks). Imagine 100 kestrels, 400 launchers, the damage potential of 66 Raven battleships and they even lock faster, fly faster and warp out faster... sure they break easily, but don't tell me a experienced player wouldnt be able to hit someone sittin in a battleship with his 4 cruises on a MWDed kestrel. 100 kestrels, that's ownage. Ps. Sorry for thread steal ;D Pps. yes I know over time the frigates dosn't have the same damage potential as the raven due to required reloads. -- "Yarrr..." Well, personally I think frigates are more fun than battleships because we can check out blobs even 30 jumps away in about 15-20 minutes which gives us the opportunity to gank a lot more ships. As for fleet combat a mixed fleet of frigates and battleships is the most effective imo, cruisers are next to useless. As for blackbirds, I would rather have an EW pilot in a scorpion seeing as he can take miles more damage and can target jam/ sensor dampen much more effectively. So yes, you will see m0o pilots in frigates much more than you used to with the advent of tech 2 frigates, interceptor and bombers. Its going to be fun. PS. I cant wait for a tech 2 Incursus to come out, that'll be one badass ship. Ive had a soft spot for the Incursus since beta, as many of my fine friends in Oracle will remember

They basically say that heavy drones wont be able to touch a frig soon...same with cruise and torps..course they cant now. Also the tracking mod will make large turrets all but useless against frigs. BS will have to start mounting small turrets with tracking mods to hit frigs...cool Idea I think. There were other changes that I cant remember.

You only get one pass and it is pretty much luck (i.e. gods of lag) that determines who webs who first. Seriously do you think it takes a ton of skill to take on another frigate Dib? So far I have had 3 separate 1 on 1 engagements with 3 different, experienced crow pilots all while piloting my Rifter. It was only luck that I webbed two of them before they did so to me. Obviously I defeated the two I webbed and lost the Rifter to the one I didnÆt. But you see Dib this is not worth bragging about because it would be like saying I beat you at the card game ôWarö which we all know is pure luck. Yes it takes skill to fly a frigate in combat but when two experienced pilots go toe to toe it comes down to who hits the web first. Plain and simple. WHAT does take some kind of skill/coordination/teamwork is the ability to take down several battleships WITH drones, while in frigates. P.S. I donÆt know the situation behind your two m0o victories but they might have been in anti battleship setups. But in any case you got them to engage and defeated them. Congrats. m0o corp

When a frigate is webified it can not outrun missiles, it will die and talent has nothing to do with it. Have some friend webify you and then check your top speed and come back to edit your post.

Atm missiles are the worst weapon to use Vs a Frigate, wether you are in a frigate yer self or in a BS. I take it you didnt understand what you are quoting so lets go over it again. When a frigate is webified it can not outrun missiles, it will die and talent has nothing to do with it. Have some friend webify you and then check your top speed and come back to edit your post. Having shot down several Kestrels and Crow's i think i have a fairly good idea of what Sass meant. Cruises very rarely hit Frigates dead on, 90% of the time they will have to make a turn. Even webbed with a mwd running you have enough speed to maneuver enough to ensure that happens. Therefore at 10km max (and always closing in) from your target and with enough speed to maneuver around, timing a smartbomb to take out the Cruise missiles coming at you is not very hard. In the mean time your turrets are blasting him to bits. Even 2 Turrets on a Frigate with damage bonus + good gunnery skills will eat a Kestrel or a Crow before his second salvo, third at the most (if he is trying to stay off your optimal). The missile user could fire the missiles slowly in order to catch you between smartbomb recharge but that is not advised cause if you are webbed chances are his turrets are going to be outdamaging you. Sass statement was that in Frig vs Frig Web + 2 cruise = Win. Which is wrong. Pain is meant to be felt
