Well Dalman, once again your numbers are incorrect. VOTF did not lose 8 battleships in that engagement as you said. We lost 5, which is not bad considering the enormous mistakes we made and the fact that most of the fleet (not all but a majority) was VOTF. Final kills were 5 SA, losses 9 CA. Not bad if you consider that is the first major loss we have had in months and months.

I find it funny the way SA seems to always indicate their position is always 'outnumbered but superior'.
I think youll find this description applied to the CA up until 1month after Castor. In my knowledge, CA has lost a full total of 3 fleet battles since the beginning of the CA SA war, all of which have been in the last 5 weeks. During that time, general killing (non fleet) has accounted for around 8 X the kills acheived in fleet battles (and this is usually the case for all conflicts.) Do not forget SA, you dont get kills on a day to day basis, you ONLY get kills in fleet battles, since that is the only time you come to curse.
My group of fighters have never published a kill and loss list, but we do keep one. One of these days...

When it coms down to it, I think SA and CA can both piss as high as each other on the wall but CA do it more often.

rofl, that might be a nice characterisation of the somehow unstoppable PR nightmare we're seeing here of both camps.
I still cant fathom why people keep arguing about kill-lists.
Oh, and to that post in german way up there. I don't think you got your facts right. I've been in Xetic, I'm now in Curse Alliance, and I know for a fact the two never actively worked together. CA is just smarter then SA about making them an enemy.
Also posting in another language then english is not allowed on these forums (but then again, neither is flaming).

WHY THE **** ARE YOU GUYS SO FULL OF ****.
The Ratfink - VOFT - My log confirms battleships and that he was in a pod later Mactor - VOFT - Left can on the battlefield, log confirms he was in a battleship. Slacker - VOFT - Not 100% sure, but my log shows me scoring several hits and missiles against sctructure while his battleship is scrambled. USS OMAHA - VOFT - My log confirms battleships and that he was in a pod that was killed later Braxtin - VOFT - my log shows him in a pod, prolly a frigate then... Schadenfroh - VOFT - Confirmed he lost his battleship Tony1 - VOFT - the can from his megathron was left on the field. Redon - VOFT - scorp blows up nicely zoomed in on fraps. Xirtamvoft - VOFT - was in a scorp and I have his corpse. Wildhope - SNRA - Confirmed he lost his megathron. Nem3SiS - NGRU - Apoc blows up nicely on fraps. Double G - CRICE - Was in a pod later, not 100% sure on ship type. Monumen - CRICE - His scorpion was warpscrambled with strength 11. Are you trying to suggest he warped out? Lightace - Nomads - Was sighted in a pod, not sure of ship. Gunneruk - SNRA - Confirmed moa down by shinra. Svabbi K - SPECT - Got ganked in his scorp when he warped out right into the middle of us. Mang0o - C.O.W - Got blown up nicely in his raven. Impala -SNRA- confirmed loss in a cruiser by shinra.
The following CA battleships survived: Chowdown Fatballs Zelota Shiwan Khan Trucidon King Dave Ooucil

We might get a lot of our kills from fleet battles, but not all of them. You see, the problem with us just sending random pvp groups into Curse all the time is that you outnumber us 2 or 3 to one. So while our little fleets are in Curse, you send a big fleet into Stain and (now that a good number of our pvpers are no longer there) complain when we don't attack it. It all comes down to numbers Lallante. Anyone with a grade school education can look at a corp list from SA and compare it to CA/C4's list and see that it is indeed a much smaller list. Not to mention Xetic too.

Edited by: infinity on 18/04/2004 01:21:22 i think we just need to face it. Eve aint a pvp game. Its all about numbers. If SA have the numbers CA/C4 runs and w8t for backup and finaly when they have the numbers thenn SA numbers have drops and no fight on :(
Always the same everyday. Lots of pilot flooting around without much action and moost of the time will go into a huge w8ting game.
I realy would like to see some changes about Safespots. They really do make this game total boring and most of the time both partis w8ts on safespott after more numbers. And Finnaly when they have em the other team need to go to a safespott becuse they got outnumberd. Maby ccp should make it like u can not stay at same spott inspace if it is not near any object for like 5-10Min. Atlest there would be more action around and finaly there would be a real use for that scanner. Not much help in it when ppl are staying like 40au from any object.
Anyways i have public that fight everybody in here are talking about.

And it existed even before we ever got into Stain

Infinity you are so right, not about us = good (although that is true ) but about the safe spot issue.
I created a thread about what one change/new feature in EVE people were most looking forward to and listed ability to locate ships in space as my top one. If a fleet come looking for you you should have to run ie out manuevere them to escape. Not just move your ships to dead space and wait til Sex in the City finishes and numbers swing other way. The game will change drastically when this is possible and it will truely feel like a FUN PVP GAME. See and blob and go chase it, not see the blob, travel for an hour and then they all safe spot it until you turn around and go home having wasted an entire night.
Lol Papa, I agree. Can you imagine it in a fleet battle, Captain A "I need a target Jammer on Dalman" Captain B "Im sorry Im busy sharpening my pencil so I can write down we killed Trigger"
give us kill mails already
So HMV consider Andy Williams and Dean Martin to be "easy listening" do they? Tell that to my mate Dave, he's been deaf for 20 years.

Hehe, well, that's not exactly how I do it ;) Watching fraps after the bettle + reading the gamelog pretty much gives you the numbers.
When I'm watching a footboll game, I prefer that someone keeps the score count... (oh well, they could have skipped that in the last Arsenal-Liverpool game ) When I'm playing EVE, I prefer that someone gets the score count so that I know if we won the battle with 4-3, 5-0, or 14-5.
So, until CCP give me kill mails...

Edited by: Maxim Dane on 23/04/2004 02:08:37 I give kudos to the Stain Alliance for still be kicking.....what I find very amusing is the fact that other erm alliances without actually stating it would like people to belive that due to their skills the Stain is a shadow of their former glory.....the way I see it Stain was crippled overnight by the fabulous tech 2 patch, as ore which of course is the source of all riches in this game was overnight removed from most if not all of stain... and at the same time for other alliances which i will not be naming here, it was the other way around...
Just my 2 cents

OMG why did you drag this back from pages back....?
Ok here goes, CA is a piratical alliance, we would have died without the ark and bistot, we have no skill in fighting and we are scum, we hold nightly animal sacrifices to appease our hethen gods, and we all have toga partys in which we dance and give the Dark Lord gifts to show our worth. Hope that cleared some things up
