Edited by: Tacitus Krekt on 30/03/2008 05:24:44 EVE forum search feature is iffy, can't find my previous post. URL link to the find is here.
And now the new find...
Situation is a little different as last. Since I know that people don't understand the generic principles of EVE (and fly stupidly expensive ships) -- their isk is mine for the taking. But lets be honest here, I don't see what the hell people are doing in this system. This is now two partially faction fit CNR's that I've found -- just floating in space. My best guess is that people share these things, leaving only a few universal items on it while fitting the rest of the slots with their own modules.
I could care less for the ship. It's en route to jita for contracting as I type this. Last find sold for just a shade under 2b. This one might fetch me a little over a quarter that. But hey -- I'm not complaining.

I hate you, by the way. All the ships I find laying around space are n00b ships and shuttles. Why don't you share a couple hundred mil hu? You suck. And I hate you. Unless you do give me money, in which case I love you.
Either way, congrats on your luck. --------------------------------------------------

I've got a notepad file with about 20 known raven pilots that frequent that system, and their ship names. Coming home after work with an hour or so before bed doesn't alot for much, so after the first hit I started it as a joke to convince myself I was doing something with my time. You just have to try for it, know a little something about probes -- and above all -- be lucky.

Maybe he deleted his char.. there is a thread that says that the char's property gets randomly dumped into space after deletion.

Wow.
I wonder how those pilots reacted to finding their ship missing, assuming that they still play Eve.
If you ever find a ship abandoned like this again, please pull up the info so you can see who its previous pilot was. Then Eve-mail them telling them how you took their ship, since their reply should be entertaining.

if he was in a player corp the ship and all items goes into the corps delivery's and whatever isk he had at time of being deleted goes into the corp master wallet designated as inheritance

If that were the case you'd think the person receiving the CNR would be waiting at the safespot for the delivery to take place.

Nice find!
Best I've gotten was the Hurricane and Cyclone some twit left out in the middle of nowhere. Thanks, whoever left them! (ps, Tom and Jerry were *** names for a pair of BCs. Fixed that right away) ------ "When in doubt, aim for the crotch." "There's no problem that the application of suitable firepower cannot fix."

I can't explain the adrenaline running through my veins right now, and while I didn't find a CNR floating in space, I did just scan down a Raven, sitting on top of a can (holding a single cruise missile) and parked almost 200Km away from another can.
I warped to the new can in my scan ship, with a minuscule cargohold, and open it up. My window settings are pretty small, so I first think, "What the heck? It's got a bunch of crappy cap charges in it."
THEN, I scroll down and find out that it's almost FULL of large named launchers!

I'm excited, bookmark the can, and start to warp out... ...but, just then, I see another hauler warping in to grab up the can. Damn. Too little, too late, I guess.

Fun stuff, regardless. (Why am I so excited? Well, this is my first day with the scan ship with some of the proper training, and this was one of the first things I've managed to scan in space.)

Rigs made me want to kick a puppy or punch babies -- makes it that much more difficult to sell. But hey, I got at least one offer on the contract atm so I'm guaranteed a decent sum of isk.

i dont see how and why there should be a navy issue raven at a ss.
first of all if you do missions you need to warp to station anyway to do mission talk. so no point in putting one in ss.
it has been put there on purpose. loging, or afk or deleting or expireing your acount will not mather. your ship will disapear after 15min.
then theres the question of why the hell is it half fitted? why would u put a half fitted ship in space ?
only explanation i can think off is eighter that your full of bs or someone is putting them there as part of a sploit. --- Somebody needs a hug! |

This thread and previous threads are used by the OP for whitewashing illegal ISK activities. By posting nonchalant about just finding a few CNR's you're fooling everyone including CCP representatives. Meanwhile your wallet balance keeps rising!
What's next, are you gona find a Titan just floating around... ?
You can't fool me!
