It seems like a lot of people have figured out how to use this nifty little thing for all kinds of things, including getting EVE (or some variation) onto the iphone. I can't say I think THAT would be a very good idea, I can just imagine trying to dock and getting CONCORDed for ham-fisting my buttons, but what about Quickfit on the iPhone? It'd be kickass to be able to fit ships while your in "the office" or while driving your car or at a funeral, wouldn't it? It's written in java, I'm sure its possible.
Anyone ever done this or know someone smart enough to do this? Link it up!!

...and since it is written in Java, it will never be on the iPhone, at least not officially  The SDK strictly forbids anything that can run non-native code.

I despise Apple and it would be ******** to buy an iPhone without jailbreaking it and actually getting to use what you paid for, but they're amazing pieces of hardware once they're made available for free use (jailbreak).
So, back on topic. Quickfit for iPhone pleeeeaaassseee i know there are some bored coders reading this.

QuickFit was surpassed many many moons ago by EFT. QF is slow and clunky (even if not overly noticable) and would be even worse on the iPhone.
EFT is written in Delphi (iirc), it might be possible to convert to C to run on iPhone. Perhaps. I haven't had a chance to look at the Open SDK yet.

EFT huh? Either one would be awesome, its just something that it'd be cool to have in your pocket. I'm no programmer, I've had to use other people's scripts just to unlock my iPhone, but I've seen some very clever people come up with some really unique software for the iPhone, and any EVE fitting program would be awesome.

the mac widget one works on the iphone through the widgetop interface thing... dont recall the name. blue wraith wrote it.
