Hey,
Going to be returning to the game over the course of the next month. Just want to get to grips on where the game is now and move things around before I jump right back in (only been abscent for 5 months)
My whole EvE life revolved around Frigate hulls. I was active in RvB, solo Frigate PvP and Minnie FW missions (SB's).
I wanted to know what the impact of the changes in Assault ships has had on the game when it comes to Frigate Hulls; both PvP and economics.
I appreciate my question is a little general, but I either PvP in Frigates or I run FW missions to sell Firetails. So, as an example of a direct question; is there still a market for Firetails due to the changes to Assault ships?

As for flying frigs, the new AFs are great, the dram got nerfed, the DD got buffed to ridiculous levels (via the hybrid buff), and hybrid frigs are good. Null got a range bonus as well and Hail can hit more than the broad side of a barn now.
I think you will enjoy flying frigs again. Additionally, changes for T1 frigs might be on the way. So that could be exciting too!
Might finally be able to return to my roots as a Caldari pilot and rock with my Hybrids :) |
