I didn't think bubbles were do-able in lowsec, yet I see a killmail with a Phobos using a "Warp Disruption Field Generator I"
Glitch?
Or am I missing something?

The Warp Disruption Field Generator can be loaded with a Focus Script which will focus it's disruption energies towards one single target. It basically becomes a long range, infinistrength, warp disruptor. So you are right, bubbles cannot be used in low-sec, but the disruption field (AKA the Infinipoint) is still usable with the focus script.

If you ever went to lowsec, you'd know that

There's also a glitch (or used to be -- not sure if it's still there) that would show the bubble effect even when the focusing script was being used. That caused a fair amount of confusion at first.

So say I load a focus script and 3 targets jump in, do I target one and hit "warp disruption field thingy"?
Also surfins...I do go to lowsec, quite a lot in fact

Pretty much yes. That script turns the module into a uber powerful warp disrupter.
Of course you still have to land the lock, and HIC's don't have a very good sensor resolution so to target smaller ships you'll need either buddies with remote sensor boosters or some interceptors holding the target down while your HIC locks. |
