Due to a lack of ever achieving anything other than smiles from people, I have decided to close my corporation and alliance and move on to pastures new.
In an attempt to try to recoup some of the Billion ISK founding fee I will be selling Abyss Alliance to the highest bidder.
The process for the winning bid will be simple. To have their corp (or a named alt corp) join the alliance, payment of the bid will be made to me Vyktor Abyss on application - then I will set them to Executor corp of the alliance on 14th April before leaving it myself.
For those of you with trust issues, simple: don't bid. I've spent 2.5 years building a solid reputation for integrity and I am not going to change my honest to a fault personality and principles just to diddle someone out of some spaceship game money.
The Abyss Alliance has made many friends due to our anti-pirate NRDS philosophy in its time, most notably in Gallente space near to Villore, and in low sec Domain and Providence after we have spent a long time assissting CVA with their anti-pirate efforts. I'd like to point out that though we are selling the Abyss Alliance name, we are not selling our reputation - so all those corps/alliances that have set us blue will be informed prior to transfer to reset standings with ABVSS.
To my knowledge noone (except maybe Star Fraction) has ABVSS set red, since we've probably never been worth the standing slot! Hehe!
ABVSS has a very pretty in-game logo, designed by the marvellous logo designer Nova Z, which I can also supply files for the image if desired. For those wondering - it is a Fibbonacci Spiral, based on the fibbonacci number sequence and common in nature in places such as the Nautilus shell, and in sunflowers. Be smart and pretty! 
So - to the Auction:
STARTING BID: 50 Million ISK
MINIMUM BID INCREMENTS: 25 Million ISK
RESERVE: I'm reserved, but sadly it must go - so... None!
SNIPING RULE: Unlikely to be needed, so none
Auction Close: Midnight GMT of Sunday 13th April

Just FYI - Alliance founding fee is 1 billion ISK and required Empire Control 5, the logo also cost about 100M or so, so at 550M you're getting it for half the original cost!

LOL - well in truely noobic style that is me, I've forgotten the end date of my own auction and sold it a night early...
I'm really sorry I'm such a numpty and I realise I possibly have disappointed some bidders and maybe I could have gotten more money, but I've now accepted the bid of 625M now from Lionsgate and will stand by my word.
See why numpties like me should not lead alliances now?
Transfer will occur as soon as their CEO is on tomorrow to complete the transfer (which due to the 24hrs) will be complete by the 14th (thats what I originally meant! LOL).

Despite the glitch in auction end dates, Vyktor has run an exceptionally professional sale, and held up his word even though I transferred the monies prior to being accepted to the alliance.
The sale went smoothly, and I would definitely recommend any service or product Vyktor sells.
We will be re-setting all alliance standings and starting fresh!

Good luck Phyridian - I honestly wish you all the best for the future.
As you can imagine I'm quite attached to ABVSS and I'll be keeping track of how the alliance goes - I'm sure with professional folks such as yourselves it is in good hands.
If circumstances change however and you dont want ABVSS anymore, I'll always be interested in buying ABVSS back...
- never let the ABVSS die!
