Hey everybody, thanks for taking the time to check out this thread.
Event.Horizon is opening its door again after about a year break.
We're a primarily PVP focused corporation, currently based in southern empire. We have many goals, and many plans, and we intend to grow and progress our way back into 0.0, and to be one of the great corporations in EVE. We've been around long enough to know how difficult that may be, but we think we can pull it off. We have a great circle of leadership and a good base of knowledge, assets, and determination to start with. If you have been to 0.0, or think you want to go in a family-oriented atmosphere, enjoy PVP, mining, etc, you should contact me (Relnala) in game and see if we both think you'll fit in with our amazing group of people.
Before, we were simply a pvp / piracy corp. We were a group of players who had spent most of their time in 0.0, doing fleet fights, etc. We had grown tired of it all, and our prior corporation was falling apart. Of our board of directors, only two were particularly active. So we decided, after a few months of losing members and losing faith, that we would re-create a corporation, from the ground up, in the image of what we thought would be amazing.
In comes Event.Horizon.
We only had 8 or 9 members, maybe a couple alts. But it was the most fun we'd ever had in EVE. We pretty much just flew around in small gangs and pvp'ed, started wars, just did as much damage as we could. We enjoyed primarily engagements with larger forces, pirate gangs, and local residents. We used dropped loot to refund all losses and existed pretty much just to kill. Our mistake came when we decided to venture into 0.0 to live with such a small group. We didn't get pushed out, didn't have any problems necessarily, but we kinda fell apart and lost sight of what made us us with all the ratting and mining, and our pvp side kinda drooped off. We were all fighters, and we weren't fighting.
After some time we went our seperate ways, but recently, we decided to bring it all back, on a bigger scale, and better than ever before.
And if you have a great attitude, a sense of humor, and maybe a few skillpoints, we'd love to have you around. The more the merrier, as long as you fit in well with all of us.
