So I saw a 1month old in a Myrm sitting outside a station in a .4 system. i hit the AB (yes yes.... MWD ftw... I dont have the fitting skills to use it AND the plate..I r newb) and start moving in to a tight orbit with my Incursus. I get a lock just to see if they are dumb enough to aggress me in range of the gate gunz. They were! Anyway, after the myrm was reduced to Metal Scrap and melted caps I happened to look at my aggression timer to see what corp I had to be worried about ganking me.... for some reason I only had a timer with the myrm pilot and not her corp. If it was a newb corp I would understand, but this was a PC corp. Do i just fail to understand the aggression timer?! If so can someone explain why her corp did not have the timer?

Because you did nothing to provoke the action other than to lock them. So it was their individual engagement.
You will only get aggro from the full corp if you steal from a can pretty much, even if you had engaged first, the rest of his corp would not have aggro on you. But sentries would have handled you pretty quick ------------

So a corp does not get to shoot at a person that is shooting one of thier members if thier member did the initial aggressing? Then how does all high sec piracy work (ie.. person A flips persons B can....person B shoots at person A....person A's corp warps in and wtfbbq's person B)??
Just when i think i have the mechanics down... I am once again confronted with my newbness.

No you have it wrong there. In that situation only person A would be able to shoot. What your thinking is
Person A flips Person Bs can. Person B takes his ore back (therfore stealing from your can). Person B is now flagged to your corp.

For person A's corp to bbq person B trickery is required. Usually can flippers accomplish this through moving can contents into a new can, person B might be foolish enough to "steal" his items back. If he does not however, and instead chooses to attack person A straight away, person A's corp can warp in and help him with remote repairs and the likes, which in itself is an act of aggression (but not concordable) and might confuse person B (or, more likely, his drones) enough to attack one of his many new red flashing targets. Newbie miners will learn this pretty quick which is why high sec "pirates" kills are mostly rookie ships and mining frigs.

Very correct, it is hard to get someone to let you do more then one on one in high sec, but if you have inty skills, you can kill any mining barge that is set purly for mining. The smart miner takes the loss, and figures out that they do not want to lose any more ships, but sometimes there are a few that feel froggy, and that is where the fun begins.

off-course not, having one trigger happy nub with no brains drag your entire corp into a mini war would make no sense. imagine the scenario, you use the tactic you mentioned to get someone to agress you, this results in you now having the right to shoot at anyone in his corp for the next hour/day/week, free instant wardec ftw.
