Details of what's in the latest E-ON are now online and copies are already being sent out to subscribers and pre-order buyers, who can expect their magazines over the course of the next seven days (or very soon after).
In addition we've set up a reader survey, and, in an effort to completely dominate the weekend, I'd just like to remind people of player meets this weekend in London and Philadelphia. As I'm in the US, I look forward to meeying some of you in the City of Brotherly Love - although I suspect we'll probably talking more about the BSG Season 4 opener (which airs here in a few hours), than the winners of the EON Awards :)

Got mine and another great issue! One typo I've found so far in the Tournament section tho Zap  , its titled IV rather then V  .

Apathy is sickening, not candidacy. For the record, the total number of votes cast for the awards were less than the total Goon membership, not including alts. There are a dozen alliances, that if suitably motivated, could have rolled the goon vote over.
Regardless, I say well won to all. o7

I have recieved it \o/ I enjoyed reading about the gnr, i came in just at the end and it brought back memories :)
Apart from that it seems theres not much in this issue..... what I would like to see more of is interviews with smaller corp members and the every day eve player and see how they view eve.
Also what I would like to see in the mag is the stories behind regions such as Stain, Fouintain and Venal and how the pirate factions that live there actually got there.
As for the e-on awards..... well a complete load of bo****ks tbh.... Goonswarm alliance & corp of the year? I dont think so

I can think of so many that would ve deserved the awards, Triumvirate is one of them.
But yeah Zapa, if less than 5000 people voted out of 220000 members.
Thats less than 2% of the eve community cared to vote. Pretty bad if you ask me.
I shouldn't really speak though as i didnt bother voting my self. why? i can't recall seeing anything to promote the voting, Maybe if CCP has it on the entrance of the game or soemthing, proper in your face vote now or you can t log in sorta of crap.
We need p.diddy. Vote or die.

For the record, in the previous issue, there was a big analysis on Tech-1 Cruisers for PvP - very affordable :)

for the record Zapatero i know they did a section on t1 cruiser what was very good, and before that it was carriers faction bs all the ships that your normal player cant afford so one mag on t1 cruisers nice but where is the rest of em setups for affordable ships. but come on if you where to buy a magizine out of a shop would you a, go for the scruffy version with big crinkles and bent pages or b, the nice version with no crinkles or bends. but on the plus side a crinkled copy for reading at work is good

Essence is not listed in the eve-maps site because it's a NPC Empire region and not conquerable by players. But I think Serenity's book will display all regions of the galaxy currently available.

I hope you aren't looking at the "Outposts Alert -> Regions" section, as that obviously only covers 0.0 regions that have Outposts in them.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guarantee you that every Region in EVE is included in these maps.

Thanks for getting a copy :) The Outpost info will be up-to-date as "stop-press", after that it's adding new outposts with included stickers and new page I'll release on the web site specifically to make it easy to update.
I'm disinclined to add the last date outposts have to be added, simply to avoid people "gaming" the inclusion.
Hint: If you want to be absolutely sure yours is in, then deploy it this weekend. After that, it's sekrit (unless someone has a good counter-argument as to why it should *not* be sekrit).

Bit ****ed tbh to find out that this was only a pre-order and not advertised as such - ordered mine more than 10 days ago and only now 10 days later through trolling on the forum we get told its not even printed yet. After all inserting one line on the ordering page saying eg. "This item is available for preorder we hope to have it published on 20 April" is not hard. Its should have been advertised as pre-order (I would have ordered anyway but - anything else is fraudulent advertising ).
I just feel that CCP again fail in their customer service and communications (something I should be used to by now)and if I was more cynically minded fraudulently wanted to take our cash for something that they wouldn't even admit didn't exist yet - I would like to think my credit card has not yet been billed for this but somehow doubt it.
PS. I assume it will come with a date of the stop press so we will know what outposts to add as it will undoubtedly be out of date when it arrives. Perhaps a special update you map issue of the outpost alert or link on the eve maps webpage that makes updating it easy.
I look forward to this map with anticipation (and have been for some time) but again and excellent product (I hope) spoiled by CCP's poor customer service and communication (much like eve itself so no surprise there).

Bit ****ed tbh to find out that this was only a pre-order and not advertised as such - ordered mine more than 10 days ago and only now 10 days later through trolling on the forum we get told its not even printed yet. After all inserting one line on the ordering page saying eg. "This item is available for preorder we hope to have it published on 20 April" is not hard. Its should have been advertised as pre-order (I would have ordered anyway but - anything else is fraudulent advertising).
I just feel that CCP again fail in their customer service and communications (something I should be used to by now)and if I was more cynically minded fraudulently wanted to take our cash for something that they wouldn't even admit didn't exist yet - I would like to think my credit card has not yet been billed for this but somehow doubt it.
PS. I assume it will come with a date of the stop press so we will know what outposts to add as it will undoubtedly be out of date when it arrives. Perhaps a special update you map issue of the outpost alert or link on the eve maps webpage that makes updating it easy.
I look forward to this map with anticipation (and have been for some time) but again and excellent product (I hope) spoiled by CCP's poor customer service and communication (much like eve itself so no surprise there).
The maps are distributed and published by MMM Publishing, the same people who publish EON. I don't think CCP has anything to do with the form in which it was advertised, so you might be throwing around unnecessary hate towards CCP.
Glad to hear the maps are being printed and shipped soon, I was starting to worry about my order. |

Already ordered EvE Maps 1 week ago, didn't understood that it was pre-order, but now with the latest MMM mail I've received I understand the wait.
Now run Serenity, run... nice ship by the way hehe.

I recieved a conformation mail but that was a few weeks ago.
try checking your spam folders ect.
