Edited by: sinqlaison on 04/04/2008 19:44:21 Quick question: how many players are there worth more then 1,000 billion ISK in assets (BPOs, cash, items, items in production, cash tied up in trade orders, etc etc)? Who are they?

By the way, 1000 billion is known as 1 trillion.

How many Alliance CEO's are there?
Some Avatars in Eve 'hold' alot of asset. I don't know if we could even find out who as individual is worth this kind of IG wealth. |

Maybe Eve should have a "Forbes 500" list.

Depends where you are.
To the British 1,000 million is 1,000 million. A billion to them is a trillion to an American. 1,000 billion to a Brit is 1 quadrillion to a Yank.
While the American way is in more common usage now the British way makes more logical sense.

Given that corp CEO's treat assets as their own, I expect there are a few around. If you want to get really rich in Eve, start a corp (and make it a success).

It does make more sense, but we all pretty much use the American version and have done for a long time.
CONCORD provide consequences, not safety; only you can do that. |

Ehh? 1,000,000,000 to us is 1b. We use "short scale" these days (modern usage).

True, for most corps, but I'm sure most CEOs take a skim, for their trouble, you know ;).
One I was with once seemed to me to be a giant extortion scam for the CEO. I'll mention no names (pimpology).

I am worth about 70 billion in lost isk
I lost so many officer fitted faction battleships in pvp that I lost count. It would be nice if some CCP guy pulled up that stat, I really want to know.

I do not believe Entity is worth more than 1,000 billion - where would he get the money from if he invests it constantly in worthless stuff. So, who really is the richest individual in Eve?

Frankly, in just the unique ships itself, you could assume that would be worth 1 Trillion. With the Federate Mega being worth the most.

You would be suprised.
He owns some extremely rare ships. Those alone could yield 100's of billions alone.
But chances you cant really tell whos the richests individual. I can think of 2 person with assets and isk worth 1 trillion. Maybe 3. But thats about it.

As some people already mentioned, the richest people are probably alliance accountants. But that money isn't truely theirs. You could ask what is the richest alliance.
As far as independently wealthy individuals go, I'd have to go with Entity

This would be a fun one for CCP to answer. Of course they cannot name the player(s) but they could list the top 10 ISK amounts in a single player's account (maybe add money among all [possibly] three avatars but do not include cash in company wallets).
Granted that does not account for assets which would be much more difficult to assess or money they may count as their in an corp account but would be a fun if meaningless benchmark nonetheless and certainly easily done by CCP.

Anyone who's got a trillion in their wallet is a moron. Cash in EVE doesn't do any good 'just sitting there'. So there's possibly people with that many in assets, but calculating a liquid value is really really hard.
I mean, how much is an officer module _actually_ worth?
Or a Nighthawk BPO? -- Crane needs more grid 249km locking? |

Entity is the richest guy in eve... or atleast one of the top guys anyways.. the unique ships like state raven, tribal tempest are worth around 80bil each and the federation mega is worth over 200bil or more as its the only one left ( i only know there was one.. not heard of any other released) + he has more unique ships.
you asked who is the richest guy and you said it included assets... so entity wins.. most of hes stuff is priceless anyways :P ---------------------------------- MY VIEW ARE MY OWN, I DON'T REPRESENT MY CORPORATIONS VIEWS HERE... stop mailing me.. plz

Please don't introduce elitist behaviour into this game, it's bad enough already.. There are no elite, just the good & the bad... I'm probably the bad as my new char is a noob, whereas someone else is good.. They're NOT elite! ------------------

I have no idea, and I'm just speculating whether or not he has t2 bpo's. I think I read somewhere that he did (this is how he got all of his isk, obviously), but I could be mistaken.
If he would like to stop in and confirm or not is up to him.
