It's a wonder that minmatar EVER got out of slavery with a stabber as the "fleet mainstay".

Not only based on the T1 logistic but it doesn't retain the logistics bonus. It is the only navy cruiser that has no purpose besides dying.
Would be a half-decent ship with the energy transfer bonus intact .. c'est la vie.

i was just disappointed that amarr got a support ship as their faction cruiser while other races got a combat ship. i didn't know what ship it was and was hoping for a fleet omen.
just noticed the amarr faction ship is a tier 1 cruiser while the other races have a tier 2 cruiser. were fleet ships introduced after "The Great Amarr Nerf"? (if there ever was one. i don't know.) Unofficial Official Jita Fubar Thread |

A few patches ago during one of the bigger expansions the navy augoror had lost its laser capacitor usage bonus for the energy transfer arrays. Not sure when it was swapped back but I recall it clearly because I seen a fellow trying to sell it for 20 or 30 million isk when it had changed.
Anyhow I don't think using the lower tiers for navy versions is such a bad idea. I'd rather have a navy issue armageddon than an apocalypse. |

If I remember right the Navy Aug can be fitted to be a wicked bait ship. Don't feel like EFTing it though. ______

True, but that is all it does.
I've even tried to use it for lvl2 mission running! No joy there...
Lets be honest here, why would you use a FACTION SHIP for bate, when every1 knows that said ship is good for only that? Obvious???

Because that makes it very good to keep hostiles away. They come see that OBVIOUS bait and say. " HA we are too smart for that we wont fall on this trap! Turn around boys, they wont trap us today! hhauuhauaua!" ------------------------------------------------- If brute force doesn't solve your problem... you are not using enough

No it does not. It attracts all the attention in the world.
Everyone underestimates its survivability and all of you silly people out there who go "OOOO FACTION SHIP! LISENTO PRIMARY!!!" are dumb. I use mine specifically to attract people to our system for pirating. Something about getting over 34,000 armor and 70+% resists across the board while being able to tackle things on the gate is just...great.
Of course the only things it can kill when setup like I have it are shuttles, frigates, and pods, but still. It's obviously better than the waste that is the normal Augoror though. I fly them as a novelty item on killmails. ---

Well it is still a nice sub-bc salvage ship, only bettered by sacrilege in ship class up to cruiser (including T2). If we include bs, then of course navy apoc is good too. I think these are the roles of navy amarr ships.

I don't see a reason why the Navy Augoror being based on the Augoror hull has anything to do with the preformance of the Navy Augoror. Or more to the point, the Navy version is transformed so much that for all we know it could have been a Navy Issue Maller if it wasn't for the hull. 5 high slots and turrets, 7(!) low slots and 3 mids (+1,+1,+2). In line with the other faction cruisers. Armor, hull and shield values are in line with the other faction cruisers. As is pretty much every other stat.
If there is a problem with the Navy augoror it's not because it's based on the augoror, it's because it's Amarr.

The augoror is a support ship. The Navy Issue Augoror is not. With the bonus changed, it becomes a totally different ship. Try using one for support - really, you'd be just as well off using an Omen in that role. The Navy Augoror is a nice enough ship - maybe the Omen would have been more fun from a gank perspective, but the Augoror sure got the tank side covered well enough.
