OK, most people get this, but I'm just getting really damned sick of it, lately.
You join a fleet, and it stacks with your overview/selected/drones, and pushes them all out of order.
Has anyone found a way to fix it?
I've tried dragging them to that Fleet and Broadcasts are just laying right along the top edge of the window, I've tried resizing them, resizing them while having them pinned and unpinned, and combinations of leaving gang while pinned and unpinned and moved and minimized and so on.
I can't get it.
I dread joining a gang, now, and it is just ****ing me off to no end!
Thanks for any help. *signature removed - please email us to find out why (include a link) - Jacques([email protected]) |

After toying with this annoying problem for a while, I have found that if I tab together the fleet and broadcast windows, I don't get the problem of them popping up under my overview. They will remain in the same place that I set them up before. If I change the settings though, separate the two windows, then I experience the problem again. I keep them in the lower right corner tabbed together, and this fixes it. Hope this helps!

Having this problem, along with the rest of my corp...
Whenever we join a fleet/gang, it does this, at least if you're in space. If you're in station, it is putting the fleet/broadcast windows where you last had them. Sounds like bug.
My drones window also does the same thing, as I like to move it near my shields/armor status so I can monitor both at the same time.
The most annoying part of this, is if you're in space and join the fleet, it pushes my overview to the top of the screen and then the current selection *off* the screen. Sometimes F11 map will 'push' things back but not always, docking and undocking makes a jumble...
Why doesn't it just save settings for window positions like it used to?????

DITO!!! I have been having the same problem. I try and pin my windows, the same as you have mentioned, and it always changes. Not just the drone window. Lately, alot, it has also been the chat window. After I open the market window the game takes it upon itself to take my chat window and place it on the top of my screen.
This is very annoying. CCP?? Any fixes?? |

My "current target" window frequently decides to move itself to the top (while pinned).
So, I unpin it and overview, move them down a row, repin, and it works ok, then later, I notice them back up at the top.
Also experienced the move-unresponsive drone window, and the fleet window that knocks stuff around. For some reason fleet finally decided to remember it was moved, but instead of just STAYING there, it knocks the chat window off the bottom of the screen when it opens, because it's above that not like I want it. Easier fix than knocking the overview off the top though.

I'm pretty sure their canned response to this is "delete your cache" :P
