I'm trying to get the client to run in 1280x1024 resolution windowed mode, so I can work on my second monitor without having to shrink the game, while still running the game on a full monitor size; Whenever I try this the lower centimeter of the UI is occuled, I'd guess by the game offsetting for the centimeter tall Windows header Microsoft insists on sticking at the top of every window; I can force the game to maximize while in windowed mode to fix the problem, but that offsets the ui so I have to click an centimeter under every graphical button.
Can anybody think of a resolution to my problem that'll serve my needs?

when its in windowed mode, Left click and hold on the lowest part of the blue menu bar you can and drag it UP. Should end up looking almost like fullscreen.
Or there are programs that can force centered position on windows for you, Ultramon being one.

Have to agree with Implicatus, I also adjust the position everytime i start the game. Maybe not the fancy way, but it works for me, and after a couple of days, you don't really think about it.

Aye, I guess moving it bout works, it's not precise, and a bit annoying; bit it'll do for now. Ultramon won't do what I'm after; it'll force it to screen, but again that offsets the ui.
Thanks for your help :-)

Edited by: Scouteye on 09/04/2008 13:50:25 Two words, one program: EVE Launcher
Will properly fit your window mode client to which ever monitor you chose without lossing any of the picture and will removed any borders, it will look full screen basicaly.
You need to make sure your window mode res is the same as the desktops res, it will give you the same problem you already have if they dont match as mentioned.
its a great app, available here

yeah i love it, i run 4 clients at once off it, handles them no problem. Somtimes if i close one then reload it, say to swap alts or something, it dont reposition the client correctly.
This is sorted by just closing EL and then relaunching. It detects the current open cleints and their settings and runs fine again.
