NPC Delve is good as well.
Curse and Stain are both fun if you like larger fleet engagements.
Problem with several of those "small scale" tho, particulary in Curse, is the Falcon/ECM involved.
When people start do 1-5 vs 1-5 and no ECM involved, we'll be looking into more permanent stay, rather than temporary visits. this is a signature |

When people start do 1-5 vs 1-5 and no ECM involved, we'll be looking into more permanent stay, rather than temporary visits. ECM is in the game and you are going to run into it. even if you loose 2 or 3 BC for killing their falcon you may still come out on top isk wise. I've had a Black Op battleship gang drop on me and come out on top. they had the advantage in intel, numbers, dps, reps, jams. we took their arazu and sin for two of our BCs. 7 of us in BCs with 1 falcon V 8 BO battleships, 2 Arazu (including widow.) another good example was a fight against TR. they had logi, ecm, more dps but we still came out on top because we killed their two most expensive ships then got the fleet out or what was left of it. now at the end of the fight we learned one of us lost a 2bill isk pod and so we did not come out on top isk wise but I hope you get the point.
You should've read what I typed instead of replied with some drivel. I explicitly stated "small scale" and 1-5 vs 1-5. Falcons and ECM is fine past a certain number (if you are five or more, the effect of a single ECM is quite low). Me and my friends generally run small scale PvP, and I mean real small scale, not the mini-blobs people call small scale nowadays. I'm talking oldschool 1-2 players vs whatever. In that size, ECM is a no go. Anything that looks like ever fielding ECM, at all, will automaticly lose out on what could've been a potential fight vs us.
And since this thread was mentioning small scale, and since I replied talking small scale, that seemed relevant. Anything miniblob (5-15) is irrelevant in that regard. And fleet stuff (15+) won't even be mentioned. If you reply to "small scale" and "1-5" by mentioning fights that has both logistics, ecm, and was 8 vs 10, you lost all credibility by default. Have fun miniblobbing. You won't ever bring logi or ECM yourself when you do 1-2 man, you might add an ECM if you do 3-5 but you are still not reaching the 'logi level'. When you reach the numbers when those become a factor, you have already lost out any kind of potential small scale fighting you could've had. this is a signature |
