.... sick of spending 15 minutes writing a post then clicking post new topic and being sent to the log in page having lost everything I've typed 
I shouldn't have to write my forum posts in word

Well at least I'm not the only person that does this.
I think its summat to do with the default login cos one of my home are eve forums but im not sure.

I had this problem a while back too, every post that I wanted to make logged me out first, etc.
Though after the 1.1 patch, they did some forum overhauling too. Which actually fixed everything for me, haven't had a single problem since.
What you might want to try is clearing out your cookies, since those might still be the old one causing problems with the new code..

This.
For the most part, I don't have the problems with the forums that other people report. On rare occasions - after a forum update - I get login issues, but when I do I clear the relevant cookies (or all of them). The problems then all disappear.
