Originally by: CCP CRITICAL Junk-in-Space has been activated and will go live after Downtime on 16 April. In Trinity 1.1: Boost Patch we deployed the Junk in Space Cleanup Program whereby anchored containers will have a 30 day timer from the last time they were interacted with and they will then be deleted when the timer expires unless they are in proximity to a Starbase. Another part of this program is that drones, fighters, shuttles and rookie ships in space will be deleted on the first of every month and while the clock started ticking on 12 April we decided to give it a bit more time so the system will become active during downtime on 16 April.
thats really critical is it??
whats this thread then? a cake walk?

Stackless Python has been upgraded from version 2.5.1 to version 2.5.2. To quote the Python 2.5.2 release announcement: "This is the second bug fix release of Python 2.5. Python 2.5 is now in bug fix-only mode; no new features are being added. According to the release notes, over 100 bugs and patches have been addressed since Python 2.5.1, many of them improving the stability of the interpreter, and improving its portability."
better help with the crashing problems is all i can say, if it doesnt then my only thoughts on that would be you guys couldnt organise a ****up in a brewery
as you can see i couldnt care less about the other changes that you have in place all i want to see is pure fixes for current MAJOR problems ---------------------------- BOB 4 LIFE NOT JUST 4 A DAY ----------------------------

Originally by: CCP Explorer I'm sure you understand that I don't handle personally all issues that arise. I have to find the defect, talk to QA, talk to the UI developers, find out what the status is, look at the state on each code branch, etc, before I can comment personally on it. I've seen the discussion here and I will follow up on the status.
soz to jump in, but what about the crashing / locking up issues that some of the player base are facing at the moment? will you be looking into that as well?
i've been on sisi to test this new patch fix and such and they still persist ---------------------------- BOB 4 LIFE NOT JUST 4 A DAY ----------------------------

easy sunbird no need to spit the dummy out m8. I'm in the same boat as you and can understand the issues your facing but to emo rage like that, meh. as they say patience is a vitue and what were endure at the moment will only make the game that much more enjoyable once they do get off their rears and fix it so that those of us who struggle to play due to poor coding can finally get back in game properly.
i do feel that they should be moving faster to fix it as they've probably had over many dozens of bug reports thrown at them but still as of yet havent found a solution ---------------------------- BOB 4 LIFE NOT JUST 4 A DAY ----------------------------

Originally by: Tawrich Tistrya I would like to meet the long standing eve players ( 3+ years ) those guys are bound to be extremely virtueous ppl , being patient for all those years to wait and see if lag will ever be fixed...........
i cant comment on wars in 0.0 around then but i can say is there was a time almost 3 years ago it was less laggy to move around in empire without the worry of cue times on gates or getting caught in jita on weekends during its prime time where the system is usually flooded. It was down to ccp's greed of increasing their revenue that put the servers under so much strain.
as for upgrading the servers to do that, i doubt anything new that they could upgrade to would solve that issue. The reason being from a fleet battle perspective is that with less lag more people will get involved thus causing more lag. There have been several cases of this ive seen personally from the so called great war where the system numbers rivaled jita at peak times during weekends.

its np, i linked a 19 page thread in a previous post i made here showing that both you and myself are not the only ones experiencing these problems. yet with all the cries about the overview changing and such i believe it will more then likely get over looked ---------------------------- BOB 4 LIFE NOT JUST 4 A DAY ----------------------------
