Edited by: Jet Collins on 11/04/2008 15:46:21 personally I think a cyclone works every well. Crap for a tank but I get over 800 m3 cargo space and it moved pretty fast.
Ohh but I also have 2 Large shield trasporters fitted so it can do someting before the wreaks appear. Dynamic Endeavors is now Recuiting.!!
Contact me in game for deatails about the corp. Mostly a PvE corp, with Jump clones avaiale in Empire and 0.0. |

I still don't understand peoples' obsession with cargo rigs... cutting a few seconds off of the cycle doesn't seem THAT important.

It's pretty important to my Executioner, when Ninja Salvaging from Mission Runners who are still actively clearing the mission.
Overdrive Injector II, Nanofiber Internal Structure II, Cap Battery II, 1MN Afterburner II, Salvager I x 2, Salvage Tackle I x 3
The Ninja Salvager's best friend is a fast ship. Get in, get out, get everything. Tractor beam not required.

Now offering Scanning Services for that 'hard to find' Mission Runner! Convo in-game for details!

EvEMail me ingame. I have three ships for Ninja Salvaging that you might be interested in hearing about. Without the rigs - they cost me under 5 mil total.

I find the Claymore excellent as an alt salvage/loot/leadership ship.
CONCORD provide consequences, not safety; only you can do that. |

T2 Salvage ship has to be marauder.
But my prefaired ship is the ultimate salvager of them all.
Hurricane 4/4 or 4/3/Cloak
2000 m3 cargo
Perma runs everything.

I still love my lootalyst. I've never felt compelled to spend the extra 60+m to get a nice rigged salvage BC. If the cargo requirements get too high (mercs for example) just drag a jetcan behind you with everything. Usually you can cram 80-90% of the value into your hold. Come back for more if needed, in Salvager or I-stabbed indy/BR as appropriate.

exequror with Crusier 5.
1460 cargo and goes 1100.
However, I find its lack of high slots disturbing...

How do you have this ship fit, and how do you use it? I see... ...potential in your choice.

I just did a quick fit on EFT, and built this:
Lows: Overdrive Injector System II x 2, Nanofiber Internal Structure II Meds: Small Capacitor Battery II, 1MN Afterburner II Highs: Small Tractor Beam I x ?, Salvager I x ? (Dependent on use) Rigs: Salvage Tackle I x 3
If you're assisting a Mission Runner, then you could max out on the Tractor Beams, however, if you're using it as a 'true' Lootalyst (love the name) then the Tractors are mostly useless, except to carry your can around.
I use an 'expendable' fleet of Executioners for my looting duties, which come directly after my Ninja Salvaging, and they are fit as follows:
Lows: Overdrive Injector System II, Nanofiber Internal Structure II Meds: Small Capacitor Battery II, 1MN Afterburner II Highs: Small Tractor Beam I, Salvager I
I use the Tractor Beam as you do, to tote my can around, collecting the loot, and then return to the bookmarked can with my Indy (also fit with a Tractor Beam) to pick it up.
Obviously, speed is of the essence, so that's why I went with the Executioner. Your choice is interesting, however, as I have been known to salvage while ganged to a certain Mission Runner, who has been more than gracious to me. In this case, the Tractor Beams would be an obvious asset.
