I would like to know if there is a ranking system or some way to tell what the top 10 - 100 players are. I am really curious where I stand compared to other players in the game and this is something that is not yet implemented, I believe that I am not the only one on this issue and it would be a great compliment to the game and would entice others to strive for the top. So lets see who's with me and post what you think about this idea.

Your topic is about how many kills someone has, which isn't a bad idea but what I mean by a ranking system is a bit vaster than that. I'm not just talking about kills I'm talking about the top 10 - 100 people in the game that have the most skill points, maybe even a top 10 for the people with the most isk. I really like the idea of a top 100 of the most skilled players in the game, then again 100 is alot but it would help people strive to be the most skilled or better than the person above them or strive to accumulate enough points to even be on the list. Personally I would really like to see where I stand compared to other players, when I played Jupgate they had a few differen't top 10 - 100 lists and I loved it. Does anyone else feel the same way I do?

Shy tech i love the way u tink a top 10 list for all facets of teh game would be freakign awsome ppl of differtn professions can strive for greatness weather it be npc killign pirating warring mining accumulating wealth how many jumps they have traveld in the last 24 hours etc etc
i posted teh kil list topic but my theory can appy to everything liek above

Shame I really haven't heard anything else on this for some time, seems like my idea isn't too popular? I think it's a great idea, but then again that's just me I suppose..

I think the top 10 list for isk or ranking is just gonna turn into a hitlist for people to shoot at.
It'll give the person bragging rights... "I podded the #1 player in EVE! yadayada"
Which might not be a bad thing... if you're at the top you should know how to protect yourself.
Good idea nevertheless.

There was talk ages ago by the Devs about an ELO style ranking system for just about everything the database could track. Kills, Assets, market transactions, etc. It's still listed HERE But who knows if it's still being worked on.
